Product rating:5/5Presentation:The product itself comes in a standard vitamin bottle. Nothing fancy, nothing crazy. Pills itself look like standard fish oil. Be careful not to mi it up with your own medicine.Functionality:I use this for both of my dogs. One is a 75lb German Shepherd/Lab Mix and the other a 55 lb Shepherd pup. My elder dog was 2 years old when he suffered a torn ACL after jumping and landing improperly. He had surgery and was required to be out for 4-6 weeks without heavy walking and plenty of rest. We immediately decided to look into a vitamin that would help him in the healing process and also as daily use. Prior to his torn ACL, he also suffered a meniscus injury. As many dog owners may know, Shepherd/Labs tend to have a high chance of hereditary kicking in for leg injuries. This just so happened to be the case for my very active dogs. I used this vitamin twice a day for 2 weeks right after his surgery and within 14 days, his torn ACL was not fully healed, but he was able to put weight on it right away. He did not wine or cry about the pain to it. In addition, he had a limp on the leg that he had a meniscus injury too for months out. This limp was gone. Not only is this vitamin great for their health, but it also keeps my dogs long hair coat shining and shedding healthy. After using it twice a day for the first several months, I decreased the dosage as recommended to one time a day. I have been using this product for 4 years now. I am proud to say that neither of my dogs have had any significant injuries since.Cons:At this time I do not really have any. I treat this as it is fish oil I would use for myself. My dogs teeth are health, fur coat shining, and their overall health is spectacular. I recommend this product to any dog owner who wants to help keep not just their fur babies healthy, but less visits to the vet. I guess the only downside of this particular product is that smaller dogs are not recommmended for this and is for dogs on the larger breed side.Overall:Would highly recommend to any dog owner as a daily vitamin for strong health.

Our beloved Keeshound got fleas in November(yours truly did not reapply Frontline in September) and our mild NJ winter left her exposed and ripe for the picking and Keeshounds are highly allergic. So we tried several months of Vet provided treatments to no avail. They helped but still had bare skin/dry skin afterword with no general coat improvement like one would expect. On a whim, i found these and purchased them. By the third week(1 pill per day) the improvement was amazing. Her whole coat was back to amazing health and thickness and the bare/dry patches were slowly growing back. One word of caution, my dog is 40 lbs on the dot, these pills are not recommended for her weight. Yet i rationalized that a 40 lbs dog with her size/thickness of coat might need more. It seems I made the right call and our Vet concurred(makes you wonder why he had us pay 240$ for 3 months of his treatment!). So experiment with dosage using care and monitoring. Highly recommend and I plan on giving these to her from now on.

This product is great. I have had to give my dog a large dosage of fish oil for an auto immune disorder and this is the best I have found. I used to use a liquid fish oil that upset his stomach.He has needed the fish oil for about four years now and it works great. He has a great coat and I believe it has also helped with his arthritis. One nice thing is that it is much cheaper on Amazon than at the vet.One thing-as you would expect the capsules are quite large. I just put olive oil on it and it slides right down.

Works great on coats for two dogs. Dandruff gone and fur smooth after a week.The only down side is one of our dogs doesn't just wolf the pill down with his kibble but pulled it out to chew on a rug. Fish oil everywhere.I tried puncturing the pill on his kibble for a while but that's a pain. Very easy to use just toss one of the gel caps into the food bowl and it really helps with skin issues. I have a dog with allergies and it keeps her skin soft and supple. You need to be careful if you are on a food trial however as the gelatin contains beef... you can order the same item in a squirt bottle to put in food. I found this to be easier and more cost effective.

For my dog

I've used these for several years and they dramatically help my dog's Lupus. Unfortunately, instead of 250 caps, this bottle came in one melted-together clump of soft-gels that I cannot separate without them bursting and leaking fish oil all over me. The weather isn't all that hot anymore, but this bottle obviously spent some time in a hot truck somewhere. Disappointing, but I'm not sure that it's really the company's fault.
