Buttons are smooth and responsive. It actually did turn few heads around with positive comments and inquiries regarding this product. The underwater filter is only OK, certainly doesn't measure up to "Flip Filters" in terms of bringing out colors. But then again let's remember the cost! Another bothersome issue is because the case is metallic it becomes quite cool in the AC room, which result in internal fogging once sealed and exposed to warm outside environment. Fortunately the fogging didn't affect the front lens, only the view finder. Frustratingly, 4 dessicant inserts didn't solve the fogging problem.
