For the capacity size, this is a light portable unit. Display is very user friendly and clearly shows input/output wattage as well as which outlets are currently drawing power, etc. I tested the max load at 2000w and it was able to handle it with no problem. The unit did not get too hot either, the fan works very well at keeping it cool. That comes at a cost though --this thing is loud. I suppose for a power station that can run a household AC it should be expected *shrug*. If you're gonna be using it outdoors or as backup emergency power, the noise shouldn't matter to you, however if you're using this for van-life, or off grid cabin, consider it will be loud. As for battery capacity, unfortunately I can't confirm the actual watt hours as I received a defective unit that shut off randomly. I contacted the company about this and they responded promptly to arrange a replacement or refund. If this thing outputs 85-90% of it's listed WH, I'd be a happy camper (pun intended) with this unit.

We got this to use in out RV. It is fully equipped to use off grid or with electric. While camping in RV we like to use it while in we are in the ATV.
