Good valu and easy to use

The grommets look great, and I love the variety of colors. But, I have not been able to effectively use the product. Even after repeatedly reading the instructions, I ended up with a messy installation with distorted grommets.I have not given up. I found detailed installation instructions with larger, clear pictures on the internet. I'll be using those next time I install these grommets.

The driver tool that makes the hole could not cut through the very thin cloth material I was trying to apply the grommet to. I used a hard cutting board and a hammer to wack it several times and needed to use scissors in the end to finish the hole. I wonder now if the manual machine is a better buy. The product is not bad just didn't meet my expectations based on the poor hole cutting tool.

I wanted to put two more holes in some cheap flags to hang in my garage, and it took a few swings of the hammer to cut a hole in the thin material. Other than that it worked fine, just make sure to use a soft wood substrate to use when punching through the material, or it will dull the cutter quick.

This is a good price with a nice color selection. However, depending on what you are doing with these grommets, they are thin and the inner ring split on the bag I made. The cutter had trouble going through 2 layers of waxed canvas.
