I ended up sending this item back as it was silver plated. That was my mistake as I bought thinking it might be sterling silver

Avoid.
Necklace has been warn very few times and the 'silver' has worn off and has now gone black. It was never used in water or with a cleaning product. This was a gift and now it is a very disappointing gift.

Was really not a fan of how it looks, not really the best, but maybe for a kid it would be a great gift or chain. Lesson learned, buy sterling, not silver-plated chains
