Effective bug relief in quantity...
The Thermacell system does a good job of repelling flies of many kinds and kinks, especially black flies and mosquitoes. The best value Thermacell system is the battery-powered rechargeable system for back yards. It's effective and because it doesn't require butane but operates off a rechargeable battery, it's the cheapest system Thermacell sells over the long run in use. But it's not portable. Packing and transporting it will lead to damage. So this refill pack for the original butane-powered Thermacell system is the cheapest portable option. It contains enough butane and repellent mats for 50 hours of prevention at a cost of $0.40/hour. That's fairly reasonable for bug-free nights at a camp site, hours in a deer stand, etc.

Works for me!
I've been using Thermacell products since they first hit the market & now have 4, they work exceptional well. They also seem to be made very well. It's refreshing to find an affordable gadget that actually does what it claims to do. Thank you Thermacell!

Did not work
Does not work in my standard Thermacell Machine, waste of money! Refills do appear to be the same as ones which were sent with the original machine.
