A life saver!
I'm one of those who keep on misplacing keys. For this habit, I bought quite a few key finders, including those with a remote controller. Then I kept on losing the key finder remote controllers.A few month ago, a friend told me a new key finder which can be controlled from my iPhone. I always put my iPhone in a holster on my belt. This works for me pretty well. But the ones I had before beep in a faint sound. I still had problem locating my keys, until I bought this one. It’s a life saver. The beeping sound is loud. I can hear it from two rooms away. It claims the batteries lasting two years (we'll see).PS: The app comes with it is nice. Clean and easy to use, just like an Apple app.

They have to fix all the bugs.
This product is really buggy. If you persevere, you will probably get it to work but I imagine many purchasers will conclude it doesn't work and send it back (and they should).I got this several days ago and using the ridiculously meager instructions, I could not get it paired with my Samsung Galaxy S4. Your normal first time pairing of Bluetooth devices doesn't work. "Device could not be paired" over and over. And this was after installing the Smart Finder app. However, I then tried to pair it thru the app and it finally worked. But this isn't the end of the problems. After pairing thru the app, my phone could not locate the device even though it was right next to the phone. The phone showed a map telling the device was "out of range" but showed where it was last detected. However, after hitting escape and going back to the screen that showed the icon of device, I tapped the icon again and guess what? It worked! The device beeped and worked as described. But here's the problem; you have to go through that "out of range" step EVERY TIME! Every time you need to find your keys, you have to endure the ridiculousness of allowing it to give a false reading, hit escape, select search again and then, and only then, it will do what you bought it to do.All those bugs don't inspire confidence.

Failed as a "Virtual Leash" device
Just received my Pally -- excited!... but...I selected Pally over Tile, Duet, Trackr, and several other small wireless locator devices because the company promised a geofinder capability which it calls "Virtual Leash", because it makes a good, clear beep (true), and because it has replaceable batteries. In my opinion, the cost was competitive with the other devices. However:Pally performs as a device that beeps loudly when I press a button on my iPhone to which is it BT-synched, which is handy. As a device that will alert when it strays from a defined distance ("Virtual Leash"), I am VERY DISAPPOINTED that it is unreliable.Poor and mismatched instructions/information (the skimpy info sheet in the box differed from what is online at pallytech.com or acesensor.com).It's fussy but it eventually BT-synched with my iPhone6The iPhone app store indicates there is a map feature in the app. No information about how to get to that map -- boy, would THAT be handy on a locator device. No information about how to adjust volume (as stated online). The Virtual Leash feature (one of the two main reasons I chose Pally (the other was replaceable batteries)) worked once and as expected. Every other time afterwards, no work. Remove, restart, reload, etc -- beep still worked but the feature to peep when my phone and Pally are a certain distance apart still hasn't worked again. I wish I could figure out how it worked the first time so I could get it to work again, consistently and predictably. Would be nice to have more than the exceedingly limited instructions available.Haven't tried it yet but I assume the batteries are replaceable.I will happily update this review if I received useable feedback from my emails to [email protected] and/or [email protected].:(

Works pretty well and is useful
Works pretty well and is useful, but the body of the piece broke where the button is, meaning it will probably get wet and break soon.
