Great brush, bristles are a little harder than I thought they would be but still soft enough to be used on low cut hair

I wanted a cruelty free brush to maintain my buzz cut (I just got my hair shaved to within an inch of it's life - well, I guess more precisely within a quarter-inch...). I wanted one that would be stiff enough to be rough on my scalp and soft enough to not be TOO rough on my scalp. This is perfect. I'm not sure if I really brush my hair or massage my scalp but at this point, there's a lot of overlap between those activities. Regardless, this cheap brush met my needs just as much as I imagine a boar bristle brush made out of pear wood for $78 would so I saved about $74. Go me!

I really like this brush. I am in barber school and it works really well combing thick short curly hair.
