Like Brutfuner Squares
I’m a lover and collector of colored pencils. I have high end, mid range and low end priced pencils but I don’t hoard them. I really use them. Every few days, I’ll switch to another set but what I’m finding is that I keep on reaching for these Swukonart 48 set of pencils and I thought it was time they got a review they deserved, in my opinion.I had one of my Maria Trolle books out that I was coloring in with my Brutfuner Macarons and squares and then switched to Swukonart and noticed that they were just like the squares! These pencils are hexagonal, soft, almost buttery and they sharpen well in my Dahl 133 sharpener with no breakage. They have thick, 3.9 cores, no names on the pencil but the barrels are color matched with the color of the leads. The colors are vibrant and don’t budge much at all with water. Some have found they crumble. I haven’t experienced this in the least but we all live in different climates and sometimes that influences how a pencil behaves but one thing I do know is that pigment crumbles, not fillers. So when I see that someone mentions this about a pencil, I always know I need to check it out because the pigment load is high and the colors are usually vibrant.

High quality, easy to use. Some of the best colored pencils I've used. Nice variety of colors. Good value. I use them frequently. Would buy again.

Fair quality
The quality is fair. Nice colors. Ok for the price. The main issue is Several of the pencil tips were broken .

Greatly Surprised!
Love them! Much better than I ever expected. As you can see in the pic, I blended, burnished, layered & swatched. Most are really soft. As with all colored pencils, sometimes pigments cause a particular color to be harder. It lays down a lot of pigment with little pressure. It burnishes better with layers versus heavy pressure. The color choices are perfect if you like to create your own colors, or if you need a great set of colors on a small budget. They are hexagon vs round. But the pencil is large enough to make using it comfortable.I highly recommend these pencils. I am not affiliated with this product in any way. I just love them.Enjoy!!Update same night. Just completed this page. They worked really well. Had 2 break when I put them in the electric sharpener. Only problem! Love them even more now.

Great budget pencil.
Pencils are better than expected. They lay down smoothly. Also they blend well. I used a Kum sharpener and they sharpened beautifully with no breakage. Not a dry pencil like some budget pencils. They are a good pencil set for the money. Major complaints are there is no color name or number on pencil and you can’t match them up to the name and number on box because some of the colors are similar if not the same. Shipping could have done a better job. Very, very disappointed with the way I received my pencils.
