Due NorthGripPro Spikeless Footwear Traction Aids for Men and Women - for Ice and Snow - Lightweight Full-Foot Rubber Tread

I have 2 pairs of winter boots that have NO traction. I definitely felt like I had more traction when I used these. I felt like they helped better, more on like snowy type surfaces rather that heavy icy areas. I used these on my white pair of boots, and they did leave black marks on the parts that touched the boots. I wrote that off, because, I haven't been wearing these boots, because of the lack of traction. It's just something to be aware of. They might change the appearance of lighter colored footwear, if they're going to be worn without the grippers. Also, the grippers are made out of rubber, I thought that they had a very strong rubber odor when taking them out of the packaging. I didn't notice that when I was wearing them. They kind of seem to be like a taut, thicker rubber band. I had to work to get them on, but, they stayed on after that. I just had to readjust them at times.

I have tried many types of traction aids, and these are my favorite. They fit boots well and stay out of the way. They don't shift too much when walking. The orange rubber is actually some abrasive that grips even better than latex rubber. The best part is that you won't ruin the surfaces that you walk on!

First, I bought these for work, rooftop solar installation, and metal roofs are becoming more & more popular.Out of the bag it was difficult to pull over my work boots, but got it. Spent a few minutes making sure they were evenly placed all around.First impressions were that they worked very well on the rooftop. They were very grippy, which is what I was looking for. I could move around fairly easy on the steel.The rub is they DO NOT GRIP if there is moisture on the surface. Sliding on a 33° pitch is not fun. Thank goodness for my PPE for keeping on the roof (although on my butt). To add to my misery, the rubber snapped on one foot. I applaud the quick replacement turn around, but I cannot recommend this product for my industry.

Sizing sucks

I really like this product. The tread is very good. There are no spikes, which is what I was looking for. I've been able to prolong the life of some of my Crocs boots by using these to make my Crocs safe again after the tread has worn smooth, as tends to happen with Crocs. Thanks for providing this product. Well worth the price, in my opinion.

I ordered this as recommended for food service, but it doesn’t add much grip for walking on damp or greasy floors. Keeping it because it is part of a required uniform, but I am still afraid of slipping at work.Edited: slipped at work as these did not work. Slipped, landing on my left knee, grabbing at a nearby table as I fell, scraping my left arm and then rolling onto my right elbow. Have missed work and lost pay.Do NOT rely on these.

I tried these on my shoes before the ice disappeared. Better grip...now next snow I'll be safer. They are small enough to tuck away in a small drawer by my door so they'll be handy.
