Nasopharyngeal (Nasal) Airway Kit 6 pcs NPA

I purchased these to see how they would work for nighttime breathing help. They are far too irrating for that - for me and for a few patients studied. I modified a couple to be very short, to fit in just past the vestibule, but they remained too irrating. I do not recommend these for anything other than emergency medical services.

Thankfully, I haven't had to use any of these yet but upon inspection, I couldn't help but notice that were of the same quality as the ones we pick up from the hospitals. The nice thing too is that they come with packets of lube for EACH NPA instead just 1 for all 5. Was definitely worth the money

These run slightly larger and are more rigid than all our other NPAs. A 28F in these is more like a 30F in every other brand we use, and the difference is consistent throughout the set. If you're going off measuring and not the number though, shouldn't be a problem. The diameter of the tube is slightly wider than a standard set as well, but not significantly. Flange is standard. Works fine otherwise.

This is an honest review of this item, which I purchased full price on Amazon.com: I haven't had an opportunity to use these NPAs yet, but they seem quality for the price. The only difference I have found is that they are a little bit harder than some of the other brands, which really shouldn't be a problem. The best thing about this set is, for the money you get more.

Each one was wrapped individually and came with lubricant. I was unable to use the product to expand my airwaves because of my deviated septum, but once I cut it down to size, it does work in keeping my nostrils open when I sleep.
