This definitely works for ps3 cap replacement
I bought this to initially fix my Syscon code 1002 and it was a pain to install as the contacts were pretty small but like the other review here it does work my ps3 no longer turns off on me and I can report that it does work just takes patience soldering them in my only gripe would be the contacts are a little on the small side but it does work for the ps3 Syscon code 1002

Almost great!
Bought for the YLOD Tokin Capacitor repair on PS3's when my usual supplier (Digikey) couldn't deliver the Kyocera ones I typically use. They measure within tolerance, and look the same as more expensive ones. Big drawback is the quality of terminal finishing. I had to use a fiberglass pencil on the contact pads and rosin flux for them to take a tinning. That said they work for the fix, so that's the main thing!
