The Repair Shop: LIFE IN THE BARN: The Inside Stories from the Experts

Fun to read, especially if youโre already a fan of the show. It has a bookmark, too
I love all of it. The bookmark is a novelty - you rarely see that these days. Thereโs loads of photographs, and each crafter gets the chance to tell you their attitude to crafting (Steve Fletcher is a third-generation clock repairer and maker for instance, and his son Fred is becoming the fourth generation!) and you get details on their favourite repairs.

Heartwarming
This was a present for my wifeโs birthday, she loves the series, as do I, she couldnโt wait to read it and it met all expectations, so intimate to share in some of the personal stories of these talented people and how they started out. A brilliant read and a lifetime keepsake.

The Repair shop: Life in the Barm
I bought this for my sister who loves to watch the repair shop and so I thought this would be ideal for her to read about the repairers and their work. Very nice to have a hardback at such a good price - she is thrilled with it.

Fabulous!
We have been watching The Repair Shop since it began years ago. This book highlights the wonderful artisans there - their life stories as well as the items they work on. A delight - as is the programme - our favourite on an otherwise fairly bleak or inane listings. Well done to the fabulous team - long may they continue to delight the people who take in their less than perfect treasures - can't watch without a tear or two, as was the case reading about them all. Well done!
