Firstly, I used the product wrong at the beginning. Being a mere male I skipped the directions and went straight to using it. Secondly, that led to having sore feet. Thirdly, I read the instructions and put the low rise inserts in for a week and some change. I have moved to medium now and I can see the benefits of the orthotics. I’m walking better and don’t have a limp.

I wore prescription orthotics for years that would cost hundreds of dollars and fall apart after a year of wear. I bought my first pair of walkfit platinums on a whim in the early 2010's after seeing a late night infomercial and I've never looked back. I usually take out the insoles that come with my shoes and trace the walkfit onto it. I cut out the toes of the original insole and put them back into the shoe so that there is still some support at the toes. They do take some breaking in to soften the plastic a bit but after a couple weeks I find them to be the most comfortable for me. I wear them in my shoes all day, every day and typically end up replacing them every couple of years. But for this price it's worth it.

Bought multiple pairs. This is my go to insole.

Initially these orthotics are great! They took away my knee pain, the reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they only lasted me 9 days before they went flat and the pain came back. I weigh 240 lb and they could not take my weight for a longer period. I have tried other brands of orthotics which only lasted 2 days. So these are the best of a not so good bunch for a heavy person. I am grateful that at least they take the knee pain away before they go flat. I went to a podiatrist and got some carbon fiber ones made that will sustain my weight but they won't be ready until 2 or 3 weeks from now. So I purchased 3 of the Walkfit ones so that I can have some relief for a longer period of time until the carbon fiber ones are ready. They should publish a weight limit on these. I am amazed that there are no over the counter orthotics that work for obese people. The ones that say 220 lb + also went flat on me.
