Great size! I can pour 4ish mugs of tea before I need to refill it. Works great right on the stove surface (I have electric). The knob on the lid does get hot but I figure that’s normal for most tea kettles. Love the unique design, it looks cute sitting on my stovetop.

I'm giving this little teapot (please note it's not a tea kettle but a teapot) five stars because it's perfect for my needs. I especially like the reusable basket where the loose tea goes. It's easy to fill and empty, unlike those little screw-top tea thingees on a chain. But this teapot does have drawbacks that others have mentioned. First, it's rather small. I bought the one-liter version and, while I haven't bothered measuring its volume, it can't possibly be a liter. The stainless steel is sturdy and attractive but shows every fingerprint and waterspot. Yes, the little spherical knob gets hot, but once the water is added and the lid put in place . . . so what? All in all a good little teapot if you like the look of it and only need a small pot. PS: You'll need a brush of some sort to clean the inside because you'll never get your hand in there.

Keeps alot of hot water hot, when placed on a pad. Not to use on stove. Good quality stainless steel. Need the teapot full to capacity to use the loose tea strainer.

Bought the 1.5 liter pot. Overall very happy with. Have been using it daily for a month now. Owned several Bodum glass pots before, which all cracked eventually.Pros:- strainer is stainless steel, easy to clean and will not discolor- unbreakable!!!- spout is pointy: your tea ends up exactly where you want to pour it! (absolutely no running down along the outside of the pot)- large capacity- handle feels sturdy- attractive design, looks "expensive"- great value at less than $30Cons:With boiling hot liquid in the pot, the metal ball on the lid gets very hot very fast. OUCH! I now use a potholder to prevent burning my fingers but because the ball is relatively small it is a bit cumbersome to take the hot lid off.If the manufacturer insulated that ball somehow and made it slightly bigger the pot would be absolutely perfect for me.

I thought I was going to be able use this one on the stovetop but then it arrived and didn't work. It was hot to touch when I poured water outside but didn't retain heat well. It is cute.

The teapot looks nice. There were two versions available - 1L and 1.5 L. I ordered the 1.5 Liter one. However, I have received the 1 L version. A big reason for choosing this teapot was the infuser - nicely pictured in the item listing. However, the item I received has no such infuser. Using it without the infuser did not lead to tea leaves in my cup - that was good. However, cleaning the tea leaves from the teapot was a total mess - the opening is not large enough to get your hand in. The infuser is an essential piece. Deciding to keep or return to Amazon at this point
