Nice product and well made
This exit/Escape vent was nearly identical to my original one on the roof of a late 50s, early 60s era Shasta trailer that I’m in the process of turning into an Outdoor Kitchen. The original was in poor condition. I ordered this one which is slightly larger by about an inch so I could cut and frame the vent hole and square it up on the roof. The original was added later and the whole roof was weak and sagging. I removed the roof’s wood frame and replaced it with 1” square steel tubing.

easy install. i don't think the screw holes lined ...
despite the weird stated measurements...this was a direct replacement for my 1996 lance camper escape hatch. easy install.i don't think the screw holes lined up with the one i replaced (like another review mentioned), which i like, because i wanted my screws to get a good bite, not strip out existing hole. get your butyl tape and self leveling lap sealant and go at it!

Perfect fit for my trailer.
Good fit, only problem was the aluminum frame was slightly bent. Hammered it back down with a rubber mallet and it fit fine.

i would recommend ordering the putty
Exactly as promised. fit the hole perfectly. i would recommend ordering the putty, sealant, and screws so you have everything you need. i replace a 94 lance camper vent. needed to redrill holes but that wasn't a big deal. i did fill the old holes with sealant though. also, the biggest pain in the neck was removing the old sealant from the old bolt heads. but i did that. the entire job of removal of the old vent and installation of the new was a couple of hours. you will need a drill and socket to help remove and install the new bolts. plus drill the new holes. i just reused my old putty but definitely get more in case its needed. been through a couple of rocking thunderstorms and no leaks.a really good price for a needed product.

Package arrived damaged the corners were all bent.
Need this so I just made it work. I replaced my rubber roof I'm hoping it doesn't put a hold in it!!

Price is Good but...
The winder unit keeps vibrating open unless the crank handle is tied-off to something inside of my RV, and the screws holding the tracking for the crank wheel roller at the top of the unit are too short and needed replacement with longer ones after the originals vibrated out.Next time I will buy a more expensive unit hoping for better quality.

Good replacement roof vent.
replacement vent. Worked well for me. Measure your existing vent carefully to make sure it is the same size.
