VERY impressed!!
I am very impressed with Tide Purclean Plant-Based detergent. We have serious allergy-issues in our family and finding a "sensitive" detergent that actually cleans has been a veritable quest. There've been lots of detergents labeling themselves "pure" & "clean", but often they end up either still causing allergic reactions or they don't clean well. I did research Tide Purclean before trying it and saw some complaints about excessive sudsing and heavy perfumes, but,so far, have found no problems with either issue. I am very happy to report Tide Purclean Plant-Based both cleans very well and is easy on sensitive skin! I've been using it for about ten months, so far. No hives, no itchiness, no rashes, no exczema. It is surprisingly gentle, and, even better, it cleans like the Tide I grew up with but was unable to use by the time I hit my teens because of sensitive skin and allergies. I am absolutely METICULOUS about my laundry. My dingy whites are once again bright and my cold-water blacks are no longer "washed-out" looking. It even cleans laundry that's been sitting for more than a year (TEENAGERS!!) Decades later, Tide is back in my inventory and better than ever!

Awesome Product
I absolutely love this Tide. I have tried tons of vegetable-based or eco-friendly products to do my laundry and was usually disappointed in the results. Not so with this Tide. Until I looked at what eco options were available on Amazon, I never knew that Tide had this product available. I have always loved Tide because it gets things clean, but since I have a ton of allergies there are many products I just cannot use. Tide has hit it out of the park with this one and I feel great because I live on a ranch and I don’t have to feel awful that I am spreading something around when the washer drains out on our property. I am so thankful for this product. The only thing I would change would be to have these as pods although maybe that would take away from the other benefits. I don’t know. I will still keep buying this product and recycling the bottles. Many thanks to Tide!

Heaven *Scent*
Man! This stuff smells incredible. I used to just buy Sun detergent (because it’s so cheap, and we do a lot of laundry around here), but my husband ordered this while I was out of town and we have shelled out for it ever since because it smells so good, and stays in the fabric for so long!Also... I’m sure other detergents do this, but if you’ve only ever got the cheap stuff like me - the lid is amazing. It doesn’t allow the detergent to drip over the bottle, but rather drips right back into the bottle! The only downside that comes with the function of this lid is that I can’t unscrew the top. So when I’m down to the last of it, it won’t come out no matter which angle I turn the thing. While I typically have sensitive skin, detergent has never had an adverse affect on me. So while this detergent hasn’t caused any rash or anything, neither has any other, so I can’t speak with confidence on the matter.

Cleans well and scent is light
We purchased this because one of our two washers wouldn’t fully dissolve homemade soap. My wife and I like a lot of people make our own laundry soap with borax, laundry soda and bar soap to stay away from harmful chemicals in commercial laundry soaps. When our daughter was born my wife read a lot about harsh chemicals and health so we tried to lessen all of our exposure some. Commercial laundry soap dyes and cleaners and fragrances are not regulated like soaps we used on our bodies so they can and do contain some harsh stuff especially in the fragrances they use. The homemade soap is nice but one of our HE washers wouldn’t dissolve it completely (not sure what that says the washers cleaning effectiveness). So we found this liquid and we really like it and it is pretty free of harsh chemicals. It washes well and has a light pleasant scent. We recommend it

Does the Job
We gave this a try as we have a septic system and wanted to try and not use something like regular laundry detergent in an effort to put less strain on the septic system’s organic properties. While I can’t comment on the organic properties, I can say this detergent does the job and gets your clothes clean and doesn’t have too obnoxious of a perfume smell once the clothes are done. If you have similar circumstances or want to reduce the amount of chemicals you come in contact with, as well as have clean clothes, I would recommend giving this version of Tide a try.

Very impressed
I am not a save the world person, normally go for the real thing. Decided to give this a try. Very impressed, great switch from tide pods that left some of our clothes damaged with left over burn in from unresolved pods. Not sure if it was our water or what. Two other things to note, it doesn't have a very strong scent. But we use dryer sheets for that so our cloths to smell good. Also, some other commenters were wondering why the tape was on it. It seems this is just a protection so it doesn't spill during shipping. The product appears 100% authentic from tide. Not watered down or fake. Will be getting this on Amazon subscription going forward. Would recommend just giving it a try.

Banana smell??
Cleans great! I’m a super smeller I marked down 1 star because to me it smells like bananas. Enough fabric softener does cover it up fine. I Just don’t care for the smell when the clothes are actually washing. If you can get over the banana smell It does clean your clothes really good. Watch the measuring cup though, if you fill it full you’ll be out of soap before you know it.
