The mistake I made is that I have been looking for a bread slicer that had this thickness and would work for me but couldn’t find anything with those tacky bamboo ones. However, this is totally intended for tofu and is obviously much smaller.I wanted to return it, but the seller wants to charge me $3.60 to mail it back. No thank you; This policy always ask the living daylights out of me.I gave it to her niece who does use tofu all the time. She absolutely loves it and says it is perfect for her purposes.So I take the blame for thinking this was much larger than it appeared. Having said that, this is excellent quality for its intended purpose.I did write to the seller before I bought it but I got no response.

It works as described, and makes quick work of cubing my tofu. Yes, I didn't really have to have one. I can cube with the best of them, but I wanted to support this American company. It is a useful little gadget!
