If it’s between 9-13 water columns per inch. You just need this one. The first stage reduces the psi from the tank to 11-15 pounds per square inch. So check your generator incoming pressure. **Q: can this be used on natural gas** A: As an expert in the field for over 4 decades,,,,, YES, you can use this for natural gas as long as you put an NG appliance regulator on the appliance. Not an issue since all new equipment comes with the appliance regulator. Or..... you can order the NG spring and change that. Both are easy fixes. **Q: Horizontal mounting: can the top be rotated so that with the inlet at 3 o'clock and the outlet at 9 o'clock the vent will be down at 6 o'clock?** A: That would be fine, and is actually preferred. I’m almost all cases, the vent should be placed down or horizontally to prevent blockages such bugs, leaves, etc. **Q: Will this regulator work with a 30,000 btu ventless lp heater? Also does it come with a mount?** A: Yes it will work with 30,000 lp ventless lp heater. I have one on my 30,000 ventless lp 5 brick heater and it is working great. I would recommend checking the inches of water column while heater is running wide open to make sure the regulator is supplying sufficient pressure (9-13" wc).
