He gets one a day. We like them and so does he!About my dog: he's 8 years old now, has aging teeth (plaque/tartar, getting unpleasant breath, but he isn't missing any teeth and they're in otherwise good condition). He has so many food sensitivities to different types of meats and all grains, so he's on a grain free, single protein food.What we like about these bones: Firstly they have great ingredients! They also don't smell bad like many dog treats/bones do. To me, they have an herbal, carrot/pumpkin smell. They don't have animal protein, which is great for my dog because of his sensitivities. This would also be good for people who'd rather avoid meat products for whatever reason. These bones get rid of his bad breath and he really enjoys them.Things that aren't as good for us: the bones aren't that hard (I could break one in half by hand pretty easily) and don't last very long (less than 5 mins), so in that way they're similar to treats. I sort of wish they'd last longer, but he really does enjoy them and they do help his breath as I said.This next thing isn't really a con since it's harmless, but just so everyone is aware, this product may cause orange tinged stools due to the carrot and pumpkin ingredients. This is normal and doesn't harm the dog.Overall, even though these won't fix his teeth by getting rid of all the built up plaque, we love them because they do help his breath and I feel they may help prevent more plaque from building up. He also really enjoys them and "asks" for one every evening when he normally gets one. I'm so glad to have found a bone that does not upset his stomach. I recommend them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good treats *by B***Y on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 26, 2016* Recently my dog has become very picky about his chews, and he's stopped eating his old ones and started hiding them under my pillow. Needless to say, we needed to find a new dental chew that was both healthy and something he would actually eat. If you have an EXTREMELY picky dog these may not work out. My dog is picky as far as things he'll chew on (they need to be fragrant enough), but he will eat literally anything. Like I said, he's rejected his old chews now (which don't smell like anything and are mainly potato-based). These do have a bit of a fragrance to them, but nothing you can smell from far away that will annoy you when feeding them, I had to stick my nose right in the bag to smell it. Fortunately, he does eat them! He doesn't "love" them as other reviews have said, but he will eat them which is really all I care about for a dental chew. I'm giving them five stars because they're not too expensive, the ingredients are good, and because my dog did eat them so they served the purpose I needed them for without me having to spend $20 a bag. Will be trying the berry ones soon to see if he reacts better to those. As far as improving breath, my dog has a naturally stinky mouth, and NOTHING, whether it be taking him to the vet to get his teeth checked or feeding him a dental chew has put a dent in that, but that's not something I thought the treats would fix. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great and not so great! *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 5, 2020* I love and appreciate the better ingredients in these chews! My little dogs Loves them! She is 12 pounds and a mini dachshund mix. She had to have 24 teeth removed right after I adopted her and has about half her teeth left. So I admit she might not be able to chew them the way a dog with all their teeth can. She can, however, easily bit them into chunks and then swallows the chunks!! I had to eventually take them away because of my concern with eating those chunks whole. I don't know if they would dissolve well that way. I was surprised she could bite them into smaller pieces so easily too. They might be a Treat, however, she certainly did not chew on them long enough to help clean her teeth, which is why I bought them in the first place, so I just wanted to share.
