I even spent $5.99 for a replacement battery. But it didn't help. Had a few correspondence with Tiger Ideas (the seller), such as they offered to refund half the purchase amount. But if you expect to operate these candles by remote (because they will be placed in an area where access may be difficult, such as on a high shelf), a refund won't help. The "glow" on these candles look "semi-realistic". But since the remote doesn't work, I need to give only 1 star. I'll be returning it.Order/Product Update: After a number of correspondence back and forth, the seller replaced the faulty unit with a working one. In short, they stood behind their product, and made things right. Its too bad they don't have a QC department which catches defective units before they are shipped out. This was a bit of an inconvenience.
