Item arrived and installation was very easy. Great product for the price! Temperatures are stable for my CPU, it is visually appealing, the fan speed is as expected and not too loud at all.

I had an old i5-2500K that I just couldn't bring myself to get rid of, and decided that it was either time to let it go or get it to run at a useful speed. I was running overclocked at 4.4Ghz on the stock Intel cooler and getting temps of around 81c under full load, so to go further I needed better cooling., This looked like a great budget option.The result was a 30c drop in core temps while running a stress test! Averages dropped to 51c and max observed temp was only 54C! Awesome!With that kind of cooling performance I was ready to let the horses run on that old processor, and run it did! Right up until the 12-year-old Gigabyte z68 motherboard decided that 4.9GHz and 1.385v was just too much for its old components and beta UEFI. It died a good death right there on the dining room table... a bittersweet end to a legendary combo.But that no fault of the cooler. Performance was beyond expectations. It was well-packaged, easy to install, well-made, had everything I needed including thermal paste (saved me a trip to the basement), and man was it QUIET. Excellent cooler on-par with another brand I just installed that cost twice as much.I'm not sure whether I am going to hang onto it or not since I just ordered a replacement CPU that comes with a stock cooler (budget build - stock is good enough), but for under twenty bucks I wouldn't mind keeping this in the parts bin in case one of my machines needs a replacement.

Cooler works exactly as described. I mounted it to an AM4 CPU, and it works like a charm! Idling at ~30-40c, and never reaching higher than 80c under load. It looks sleek, its stable enough to lift the whole board by holding the cooler- works great! Also includes extra parts to mount to an Intel CPU, which is great for futureproofing. Great product!

heavy and well built. don't even try to put this on with the motherboard on it's end, lay the sucker down. it is quite heavy. Like I said well built, more than enough for my needs. Good for most CPUs, maybe not for the big suckers and more modern CPUs. I have an older setup so this works perfectly, almost overkill really. No frills, just excellent cooling. Don't forget the pea sized amount of thermal paste, very critical. the cooler is made with main stacks of copper with aluminum (?) grills. Fan is quiet and runs just fine, before installing ensure you have the fan pointing towards the exit air flow, because if you're pointing it towards an incoming fan you'll lose out on alot of the efficiency and could create hot pockets perhaps. So THINK before you install. these fans go only one way. NO RGB lighting on this, if you just need cooling and don't need a disco lighting setup. LOL.

The only complaint I have about this package is the instructions is entirely in Chinese. Customers. Shouldn't have to look for YouTube videos in finding instructions. With that being said, instructions had pictures that, though small, made it clear what the proper steps were.Aside from no English instructions, I was impressed with how much value I got for $18. My 9-year-old i7 8700 CPU has been hitting close to 100° with just a little bit of load in the past year. With this new cooler, it is running peak temperatures around 88° and stress tests. Idle temperatures are down to 40 degrees from the 60s before install. I don't even have to leave my case open anymore. Everything you need is included down to the thermal paste.My overall benchmark scores improved, though my 3D Mark graphics scores went down a little bit, probably due to the GPU would no longer having as much space around it.

Got it for my new Ryzen 5 5600, and it kept it about 61 Celsius running Prime95. My room is pretty cool, so you might get a few more degrees, but this cooler should keep similar processors cool easily. It also comes with pretty high quality Thermal paste. More than enough to install with, so you'll have leftover paste you can use if you have to take it off for whatever reason.With it keeping the temperature so low the fan runs at low RPMs and is very quiet.

Wonderful little cooler. I run a 3900x and had the stock cooler for so long, temps getting into the 80s under load and this keeps it not only in the low 50s, but quietly.

Fitting this tower requires access to the back of the motherboard so if you are upgrading an existing computer, you will need to remove the motherboard from the case. Apart from that fitting it was very easy and it made an immediate huge difference to the temperature of the CPU over the stock CPU cooler. It's very quiet. Much quieter than the standard Intel CPU cooler. It is very tall and I can't put the side cover back on the case, this doesn't bother me but it is worth looking at the height and the clearance in your own case

Absolutely mind blowing.... I was using the default intel cpu cooler and while playing some old games cpu temperature used go up by 50 to 60 degree... But now with Thermalight Assasin the temperature doesn't go near to 40... It remains under 40 degree while playing some old games and at idle the temperature comes down to 29 to 30 degree... I am totally amazed by its cooling...
