Yes. I drilled through my table top to push a wire through.

Is this appropriate to use for pouring in a mold then turning on a lathe?

This resin works well. It definitely requires an exact half/half mixture. I have not used a Lathe on my products, but once set for a few days, I would imagine this would hold up.
