Gets the job done. The camera quality is decent, it gets the words correctly in close range, and the recording is pretty nice like 1080p. But the most superior feature is it's audio capture. Easy installation, and it's very discreet. Comes with everything that you need, except for the SD card which you have to provide yourself. Reasonable because of its value.

I’ve been using the 70mai M310 dash cam and overall I’m pretty impressed with it. The video quality is very clear, both during the day and in lower light conditions. License plates are readable at reasonable distances, and the footage doesn’t look grainy or washed out. For a compact dash cam, it performs really well. The build quality also stands out. It feels durable and well made, not cheap or flimsy. Once mounted, it stays secure and doesn’t rattle while driving, which is something I’ve experienced with other dash cams in the past. The app has some nice features. One thing I really like is that you can connect directly and view or download footage without having to remove the SD card every time. That’s a big convenience. My only real frustration was the initial app setup. It took a bit of patience to get everything connected properly, and the process wasn’t as smooth as I expected. Once it’s set up, it works fine but the first time pairing could definitely be more user friendly. Overall, it’s a solid dash cam with strong video quality and useful app functionality. If you don’t mind spending a little extra time on setup, it’s a dependable option.

I have been using this dash cam for about 6 months. The cameras quality is really decent and its voice command system is really cool. But on the note of the voice command system. It only reliably works for about 10 minutes after you power the device on, then afterwards its hit or miss. Another bug this camera has is the app. You have to connect to a wifi network the dash cam emits, but even after you do that the app is super buggy. Most of the time it flat out doesnt work. It has never ending loading screens that just lead you to a "something went wrong" pop-up, and then the help section doesnt help at all. The camera definitely records, but it doesnt do the most important thing that a dash cam is supposed to do.. save the video. 70mai might be a good brand, but this camera isnt their best product. More like a paper weight.

Not the worse cam, but right away I hated that I could not run Android Auto (AA), and this cam simultaneously. It'll still records when you get it connected to your phones hotspot, but kinda pointless when the you don't have the "ease" of simply reviewing video when you want. At first I had to log off my AA, then connect the cam, but because I have AA programmed to connect automatically, I then had to "forget "AA" so the cam can use the wifi alone, and show video...(again you can't have both working simultaneously.) It's just a hassle. Also, the price of the cam DOES NOT include the SD card which is another $20 or more. So, for the full price of this cam I think I could have gotten one a bit more user friendly. Still, with that said it's not horrible. It records well, offers warnings, has built in crash detection, and the size hides neatly behind my review mirror. I just like anything to do with my vehicle to be as hassle free as possible, and the connection issue bugs me. I think I'll move this to the rear window, and get another for the front.

The camera itself appears to be sturdy and made from high quality materials. It's compact, but still lightweight. In the box the camera comes with some nice adhesion pads, a 12V car to USB-A adapter, and a long USB-C to USB-A cable. This particular product does not come with a microSD Card. it also comes with a hard plastic tool that you can use to pry up your car trim or push down the wiring to hide it from sight. To setup the camera, change the settings, and view the recorded videos on the camera, you need to use the 70mai app that you download on your iPhone or Android phone. This app will have you make a WiFi connection directly to the camera to access it. I had issues with maintaining a stable connection when I tried to install an updated firmware on the camera, but I fixed that issue by configuring my Samsung phone to use the phone's MAC address instead of a randomized address. After I did that, I was able to do the firmware update with no issues. In my Ford Explorer, I routed the wire from the camera across the top of the windshield, down the front A-pillar post, around the side of the instrument panel and along the bottom of the front dash and over to my center console where I had a USB-A port. However, I came up short by about 3 feet. So, instead of using this power cord I purchased online a USB-C power cord that is 11.5 ft long and connects to the OBD port (normally used by mechanics for diagnostics hookup) just under the dash on the driver's side. I also noticed that the voice command feature doesn't work. Update: After driving a few days with this camera activated it seems to be working just fine. It automatically starts up quietly and I can see the glowing green light on the end of the camera indicating it is on and recording. I've download a few of the recorded videos onto my phone and then transferred them to my desktop Mac computer. The videos look pretty sharp and are not laggy at all. I really like the simplicity in operation of this camera. I can definitely recommend this camera for those who want something inexpensive, easy to install and use. I'll update my review after I use this new dash camera for about a week.

I am so impressed with the 70mai M310 that I actually bought two of them—one for each of my cars. I’ve already recommended this model to all my friends and family because it hits the perfect balance of price, quality, and features. Why I’m giving it 5 stars: Crystal Clear Video: The 1296P QHD resolution is a noticeable step up from standard 1080p. It captures license plates and road signs with great clarity, even in lower light. Smart Voice Control: This is my favorite feature! Being able to say 'Take Photo' or 'Lock the Video' without taking my hands off the wheel makes it so much safer to use while driving. Compact & Discreet: It’s small enough to hide behind the rearview mirror, so it doesn't block my view of the road. The build quality feels much more premium than other 'budget' cams. Easy App Integration: The built-in WiFi makes it a breeze to connect to the 70mai App. I can download footage directly to my phone in seconds if I need to show something to insurance or police. Reliable Hardware: It uses a Type-C interface and has great heat dissipation, which is important for me during the hot summer months

I purchased this camera because it had no video screen, an IOS app, and claimed to be able to read license plates. The device is small and looks well made. The adhesive is REALLY strong. You need a razor blade to remove it from a clean windshield. It can only read license plates if the car is DIRECTLY in front of you, like at a stop light. At night the plate can only be read if your headlights are shining on the plate. You CANNOT read a plate on a vehicle in the lane on either side of you no matter the distance. The manual comes in six languages and is only idiot useful. The manual does adequately describe button functions and status light indications. The WiFi should power on in the OFF condition not ON . I am running a brand new 128GB LEXAR micro SD V30. The device feels HOT when in use. It was a sunny day. Here's hoping its NOT poor power management. To use the app with a car using an OEM or aftermarket CARPLAY - button off Carplay in your iPhone and good luck if your home's WiFi reaches your driveway. The manual has no instructions for app usage. Downloading a video takes as long as the drive time you want to save. !0 minutes of driving is 10 minutes of download time. Don't think you can set your phone down and come back later. The iphone will start getting transfer errors and ask if you want to skip or cancel. At local album, two tabs are available; categories and timeline. Selecting timeline, a horizontal bar representing the entire time of videos appears. You can place a cursor anywhere. A video box above the bar begins to play video. If you stop playback and adjust the time cursor the video starts playing again. Select download and a slider appears asking you the interval you want to record. The slider goes from zero to 3 minutes. The interval appears to actually be 0 to 20 minutes. The timeline cursor then appears to regress backward in time. I am sick and tired of having to deal with wrong headed chinese developers. The USB C cable appears thicker than need be, making it more difficult to bury it under trim. Hey, the video quality is decent. If you are looking for an install and forget dashcam in which you only want the video in rare circumstances when you wish you had video... Its not like I am recommending it.

I’m having issue with the memory card. It’s a 32 GB Samsung EVO memory card and it worked well for a day. After that, whenever the camera switches On it says format memory card. I tried formatting through the camera but nothing changed.

This is the best dashcam you can get for this price range. Video quality is superb and you can read the license plates in night recording. The setup is super simple and ready to use instantly. The app provides you all the customization for your dash cam. Cam has voice recognition feature, which is great for taking snap shots without touching the camera. This is the perfect equipment for you if you are looking for just a dashcam without being much facny. It's simple and it does it's job. Highly recommended product.

Amazing product no overheating or anything Video clarity reasonable for the price, number plate visibility within 10-15 meters on day time , after connecting wifi with the device it immediately disconnects because apple carplay takes control. So i have to turn off bluetooth and disconnect apple carplay completely to ensure uninterrupted connection with the cam. However the voice command works surprisingly well
