My daughter is 6 and has sensory processing disorder, with the primary “symptom” being tactile defensiveness (meaning she is INCREDIBLY sensitive to how things physically feel to her). Shoes have always been a nightmare because of the constant contact with her feet, until my SIL introduced us to this brand! I initially wasn’t thrilled about spending $50+ on a single pair of shoes for my rapidly growing child, but they have proven time and time again that they are incredibly durable, (even when worn nearly everyday for 9ish months) and are still nice enough to pass on to smaller cousins when she outgrows them! They’re made out of the same material as Crocs, but are SO MUCH CUTER! The colors and patterns are adorable, and the super lightweight, “soft” foam material does not send my child into a demonic-possession style tantrum, like a standard pair of kids’ tennis shoes! The Jefferson and Miller styles look just like tennis shoes, so she is even allowed to wear them for PE at school! They’re easily worn with or without socks, and are SO EASY to clean! If they get dirty, all I have to do is run a damp soapy sponge over them, and they look good as new! Seems silly to say, but these little shoes have been a saving grace fo my little girl, and have made our daily lives 1000 times less stressful! We just purchased her 5th pair, and I’m sure we will be long-time customers, but I certainly consider it money well spent!

This is our 4th pair of native shoes! My daughter loves them. She can put them on by herself (she started doing this at 2). She can get them super dirty and wet and I don’t care bc I can hose them off quickly and easily. They are super versatile, great quality, and super cute! She can wear them with nice dresses, swim suits, etc… my friends have said they do not fit wide feet but she has a very neutral foot and they work for her.

The media could not be loaded. These shoes are my go-to shoes for the summer. My daughter wears them everywhere. Playing in the yard, water park and then to dinner. They are so easy to clean and she can run comfortably in them!

We love these shoes, what else can I say? They are perfect for kids for easy on and off. Look stylish, clean easy, hold up well. The only thing i question is support but my kids never complain about walking in them at the zoo, play at park, school, etc, abs they are the first to say when there is a wrinkle in their sock or a tag is itchy, so I assume they rate comfort high! Wish they weren’t quite so pricey for plastic shoes, but… we still love them and have been buying for years!

Natives are the best shoes to use for sandals. They are easy for kids to put on themselves plus they are not bulky so they can run in them safely.After a summer of a lot of use the bottom will become worn out, in this situation the natives do become slippery.
