While solving mental issues (I'm a coder), I walk around and I like to keep my hands busy. I needed a small football (football player in my youth) to transfer between my hands and this was the perfect ball. In addition, whenever my grown sons come over, we play catch as a means of talking and hanging out. This ball is perfect for that as well. Its small size makes throwing and catching easy...and its easy to get a good spiral. I suppose this ball is geared for pee-wee types and I'm sure it works great for that. But for my purposes, this is a great ball.
