Does the Midea 50 pint dehumidifier accomodate a standard garden hose threaded connection when used in continuous draining mode

No but I was able to fit the supplies hose inside a garden hose and it works the same.

Why does my display now only show a single digit, which seems to count down to 0. No icons, no means to change mode or humidity level.

IT SHOULD BE BROKEN. TRY TO COMMUNICATE WITH VENDOR

Why isn’t mine draining the water from hose?

I hooked mine up to the hose as we left on a 13 day vacation, and it seemed to have worked okay. I attached to another garden hose, and run it to a drain. The only thing I might suggest, and you have probably already done this, but make sure it is flowing down hill. Also, and I don't know if this makes any difference, but I did place the water container back in the unit during this time.

Where is this manufactured?

Not sure, purchased in April, Died in September. will not purchase another. Only has a 30 day warranty.
