I ordered two different brands of the three pack of timers. This brand is far superior than the other brand I purchased. The timers are slightly taller and the colors are more vibrant. There is also at least twice as much colored oil compared to the other brand, as you can see In the photo. The Sd motion timers are pictured in front of the the other brand. They were turned over at the same time. Notice how much oil is left in the top compared to the others in the back row. I love that these come in a large box and each timer in its own individul box as pictured. This would make giving a single timer as a gift really easy. These are enjoyable to watch and are quite mesmerizing. I am glad I purchased this brand. I would recommend them to a friend and definitely buy again.

Needed a little "welcome" gift for my niece (2.5 yrs old) and nephew (4 yrs old) who were coming to visit. These were perfect. They loved them!! A great distraction and yes, it did IMMEDIATELY calm them down when they stared at it. It has the same effect on adults too! : )The colored liquid slowly drips down - it takes about a minute and then they can turn them over and start all over again! The quality of the product is great; they are a heavy plastic. These were dropped a few times on the floor; there were no issues. They curve in slightly at the center part making it easy for littler hands to hold them. It is definitely a well made product.The 3-pack I received came in the different color combinations as pictured. This was great because the kids could easily tell which one was theirs. No fights.I would definitely buy these again!

I have been working with schools and youth groups to reduce anxiety and stress which is at all time levels. I have purchased over two dozen hand held products to try to address this. We need a range of tools because everyone is different. This falls under visualizations and it's acceptance is remarkable. 3 year olds stop what they're doing and just calm down. Anxious adults use it to "catch a breath" and 6 yr olds find it an enjoyable addiction to a boring car ride. Other favorites include the Flexbar (stressed adults) and hand exerciser (children and adults) from THERABAND.

My son suffers from PTSD and depression. His counselor pulled one of these out at the last session they had for him to try....He held it in his hand ...turning it about and watching the floating colors and bubbles.....and he found it very relaxing and good stress and anxiety reliever......his counselor said that a lot of the other counselors were using this with their clients and having some positive results. I purchased the 3 pack...and received it as promised in the photos and description.....Im using them as stocking stuffers!.....Who couldnt use a little bit of a stress relief!.....they are fun and colorful and remind me a bit of the old time lava lamps....these are of a portable size so you can put them in your pocket or purse and carry with you.

Great for children with anxiety who just need to quiet their mind. Also great to help.calm a child with sensiry integration problems. Heavy plastic good color mixture make this a product I will buy again. Not cheaply made like other ones tried. Will and have recommended this products to others including school counselr and school psychologist as will as therapist in private practice. They have all been impressed with the quality of the product when shown. Love that they are small enough to drop in my purse or bag to take with me when we go places.

Orange/pink works great! Something is wrong with the blue color so the other 2 timers (blue/pink, blue/green) did not work. Low rating b/c this is a bum deal that only 1 works and 2 pointless timers floating around. Unfortunately seems to be an issue with all the 3 packs across sellers looking at reviews... I'd have been willing to pay more per unit for 1 functional one than deal with extra crap.

it's pretty to watch but goes so fast (less than a minute) so it's not so soothing. I bought it for my daughter to help her learn to calm down when she's upset but she spends a lot of time flipping it over to keep it going. One of the colors drops in drips but the other sort of just runs and goes much faster.

The two different colors in each seem to have a different viscosity and one color finishes earlier than another. I like the color choices and vibrancy.
