Excellent TV Picture
I bought this model in February and it is an excellent TV. No motion artifacts seen yet. Picture is SHARP, especially with 4K sources. I had trouble assembling the TV. The TV stand is poorly designed and cheaply made. I followed a YouTube video for assembly but almost ended up destroying the glass on my TV entertainment center when the TV stand, which was clipped onto the TV pending assembly to the TV by 3 screws, snapped the clip off on the TV and the TV stand base fell down and inward but I caught it just in time. I replaced the clip with electrician's tape but once I screwed the TV stand to the TV (3 screws), I didn't really need it. The screws have to be tightened almost to the point of stripping them. Otherwise, the TV screen dips laterally to one side or another. This TV can be wall mounted as well, if you so choose. I had some problems with the Smart Hub, where the YouTube app did not work, but a couple of firmware updates solved that. I could still use YouTube because this Smart Hub comes with an Internet app. It uses the Tizen web browser but it's loaded into firmware, not software, so it's harder to attack and gives you a 2nd method for going to YouTube and other apps on the Smart Hub. I purchased a GANA RCA to HDMI converter which allows me to connect my Panasonic VHS recorder/player to my 4K TV. This converter will upscale VHS to either 720p or 1080p but I chose the 720p and the image is pretty good. The 4K TV also upscales. I could not believe that this could be done but it works. I get to keep using VHS tapes that have no DVD/BD or 720p/HD streaming options. There are plenty of movie titles and shows that I taped that you cannot get today on other media. Sad, but I have been granted an extension with this converter. I researched for a Wi-Fi keyboard for this 4K TV and finally found one that is acceptable to use. It is the Rii K16(2018 model) dual-mode(Bluetooth/Wi-Fi). It will not work with the YouTube app in Smart Hub but going into the Internet app and going to YouTube from there allows me to type in search terms instead of using the Samsung TV remote which is too slow and frustrating. It takes a while to get used to but it works fine on the 4K TV and I tested it, using Bluetooth mode, on a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 cellphone. It worked fine on there. You can type long emails or texts easy with the keyboard. Netflix also has an archaic-type search function but this keyboard worked fine with it. Where it did not work was on an old Panasonic plasma TV about 6 years old. It needs more current hardware to work. Not all buttons work as intended on my 4K TV and different hardware will affect which buttons will work. It surely beats using a TV remote and an on-screen keyboard. This keyboard is well made but pricey. With hardware, you get what you pay for. This is an excellent keyboard that can be used on cellphones, tablets, laptops, or PCs.

Samsung Swindlers
This TV was the first one I ever purchased for myself. It was supposed to be my baby, with all the top features and wonderful picture. It never had a scratch on it, and then recently a couple black dots appeared on the screen. The same day the pixels started disappearing in vertical bars. So I called Samsung support immediately and they walked me through a factory reset. Guess what happened next? The TV wouldn't even turn on! I thought calling customer support would fix the TV, but it only made the problem worse. So they scheduled two technicians to come by, and instead of helping me with my TV they used my bathroom and questioned me about personal items in my living room that had nothing to do with the TV repair. They admitted they didn't know how to fix the problem other than replacing the TV (which they didn't want to do) so they called another technician and essentially Facetimed with him to show him my broken screen. Somehow someone from miles away is able to decide what two grown men cannot see with their own eyes. That, or the technicians in my living room didn't have the guts to tell me themselves that they didn't intend to replace it, so they made some lackey be the final word. Hiding behind their peers? Samsung, what is wrong with you? It's disrespectful and displays a toxic work environment.I bought this TV in February 2018 and it died in November--a mere 9 months after purchase. That is a HUGE problem!! Samsung has intentionally built utter crap that dies just as your warranty runs out. My TV was still under warranty for 2 more months and Samsung REFUSED to replace the TV, forcing us into a "he said she said" that I damaged my TV even when no clear damage is evident. And now it's dead. I'm out $1100 right at Christmas time! What's the point of the warranty? I demand my TV be replaced or refunded!

Great TV, weird choices in external wiring
Absolutely beautiful picture and great TV. Love the ultra thin profile and the almost invisible bezel maximizing screen in no wasted space.Only knock against this is the weird external wiring from Samsung. Instead of plugging your HDMIs into the TV, they've moved to the "One Connect", a proprietary signal cable and hub. So you get an extra device hub you plug all your HDMI/etc into, and that sits with your other multimedia components. It connects to the TV via a generous 6' (I believe) length cord, but again with their proprietary connectors. Bizarrely, this proprietary connector doesn't include power, so you have a second wire coming down out of your tv for your power, with what seems like standard connectors. I have no clue why they went to the trouble to have a special cord and didn't just include the power in it. They should have called it the "Two Connect", since you have two cords, not one.Anyway, strangest of all... Samsung made these two wires (the proprietary One Connect and the power cord) LIGHT GRAY in color. I was literally shocked to discover this. Here's this expensive, fancy, ultra-thin TV (perfect for low-profile wall mounting) with black bezel and backing... and GRAY cords that stand out like a sore thumb. I guess maybe so they blend better with a (gray) wall, if you were so inclined as to just run them down the wall exposed instead of hiding them in-wall or inside a conduit? Crazy choice on Samsung's part. But overall, just a cosmetic nitpick.Great TV otherwise.

Who need Qdots. A+.
I love this thing. Smart (but Google Home couldn't find it) great quality picture, but get a sound bar. Wish it had non glare glass, but where we wall mounted it, it doesn't matter. Mounts almost flush to the wall.
