The third time is the charm. FINALLY! I have a phone holder in my car that is exactly what I need it to be without hassle or aggravation. I just touch my phone to mount; it connects and away we go. When I want to remove it I just pull it right off. And it works with my pop socket!!! I’m so excited I finally have something that works and is easy to use and install. It comes with an instruction booklet that explains exactly how to install it properly. If you need more there’s a little card with a QR code that will take you to a video that will show you how to do it. It’s all very simple. This phone holder is great quality. The plastic is strong and doesn’t feel like I’ll break it if I’m trying to move the phone after it’s locked in and forget it’s locked. In other words, it’s strong enough to handle me trying to force it to do something it shouldn’t do. I was always kind of scared of these kinds of phone mounts because I thought my old car AC fins wouldn’t be strong enough to hold it or that the mount would break the fins. That’s not the case at all. It’s very cleverly made. Now once you have this installed you can’t move your AC fins. At least I can’t move mine. But my cause is very old, and the AC doesn’t work so this doesn’t matter for me. On newer cars the way this mount might be different. But for me it’s perfect and I love this phone mount. I got it on sale for $7.50 and it’s worth every single cent of that. The list price is $17, and I’d pay even that much for this mount. Great value!

After wasting money on several different types of mounts, I decided to give this one a try. It is amazing, very easy to set up in the vent. Still allows air flow from the vent and the magnet is very strong. Holds my iPhone pro securely.

Finally! A vent mounted phone mount that avoids having the phone block the entire vent. Well designed, so the phone can be higher or to the side. This is important to allow for proper heat/AC flow and to avoid the phone from overheating when the head is on. For my F150, it keeps the phone away from the gear shifter and higher up, so it is easy to see. Magnet strength is decent.

Very strong magnet really holds the phone well. My old holder kept dropping the phone onto the floor. The flexibility of phone placement away from the vents and the vent hook are key features to keeping the phone secure. One star off because this isn’t offered in a powered version to wirelessly charge.

I gave this little vent‑clip mount a shake‑down on a weekend road trip, and the first thing that impressed me was the magnet: it snaps an iPhone 16 into place with a satisfying thunk and never let go, even over pothole‑pocked backroads. The steel hook clamp feels more secure than the usual spring‑loaded claws I’ve tried, and installation took less than a minute—loosen the knob, slide the hook behind the vent blade, tighten until snug. Because the arm pushes the phone a few inches away from the louvers, I can still nudge plenty of air around the cabin and easily swivel the screen toward the driver’s seat without blocking the whole vent face. Living with it day‑to‑day, a few quirks surfaced. On rough pavement the phone bounces slightly more than mounts that park it flat against the vent, a trade‑off for that handy extension arm. And while the hook system is rock‑solid on horizontal or vertical slats, it’s a non‑starter for circular vents and anything thicker than about an eighth of an inch—worth double‑checking before you click “Buy Now.” I also discovered that pulling the phone straight off the magnet can yank the vent fin if you’re not gentle; sliding it sideways works much better and spares the plastic blades. Overall, though, this is the first MagSafe holder I’ve kept in place longer than a week. It frees up my cup holder, angles easily for navigation, and looks clean and low‑profile on the dash. At roughly thirteen bucks on sale, it punches well above its price class—just remember to pair it with a MagSafe case (or the included metal ring) if you’re rocking an older or non‑Apple device. Minor jiggle aside, it’s become one of those small car upgrades that I miss the second I drive without it.

This car mount is fantastic. I don't particularly like vent mounts for multiple reasons. But, as far as vent mounts go, this item is the best. I like the way you can actually offset your phone a little from the vent. That was a game changer for me. It holds my phone very well. I have a case on my phone that is magsafe compatible and it works securely with that. I also have used it with a magsafe finger loop on the case and it holds the phone securely with that as well. So, I am completely satisfied with this phone holder. Also, the build quality of this is very good. It does not feel cheap and flimsy. It feels solid and strong. It checked all the boxes for me. I would definitely recommend it.

This is not a bad product but it just gets in the way. It has to be tight on your vent so you won’t be able to adjust the vent and it’s not exactly still. Kind of shakes while you are driving.
