Robart Manufacturing Paint Shaker, Battery Powered

I recently retired and decided to take up model building, something I loved as a kid. This device really mixes the pai t jars well, providing a much smoother coat. It's specifically designed for Testors square paint bottles, but should be ok for round bottles as long as they're similar in size.

I have previously purchased five of these paint shakers. They work well, but they do not last. All of the others used power adapters from 120 volt wall plugs. Maybe this battery version will last longer?

This is great for paints that have sitting awhile, it really loosens everything up. But even if I let it mix awhile, I still need to shake it up and down (and I use ball bearings) to mix it right. It makes the job easier but doesn't completely mix paints as I'd hoped.

Just got it today and it works great so far. However the battery lid fits very tight once the batteries are installed and I had to shake it just a little to get the batteries aligned before it would work. I still give it 5 stars because it shakes up the paint very well. I will however probably get the version that has a plug in, instead of batteries.

I just received this product and when I bought it I did not realize that it was battery powered and that it came in an AC plug in version as well. I just spent eight bucks getting Duracell batteries so it would’ve been worthwhile to pay the eight bucks more and just get the plug-in. I don’t know how long batteries will last, but hopefully I can go through every bottle and shake them up. Besides that, as long as the product is shaking it does the job it needs to do. Paints that need a little more shaking I do for about two minutes and the other ones I’m doing for a minute. I would recommend this product, but I would highly recommend getting the plug-in version.UPDATE: So I left the batteries in the shaker with the power off and drain the battery. Therefore I am going to lower my score down to three stars. I rarely give such a low rating. Don’t under any circumstances get this one. If you get this one get the plug-in for eight bucks more.

This paint shaker is freaking Awesome! I am using it to shake my airbrush makeup bottles and gel nail polish. It also works great on other smaller containers that need mixing such as mascara tubes that I added eye drops to so that it wasn't dry.It is a little noisy but the benefits far outweighs the noise.

The thing takes 4 D batteries which is a lot but man does it shake up my paints fast. Some of the citadel mini paints i use i would sit for 5-10 minutes shaking up the bottle and still have to shake more. But no i can throw them on here and 10-20 seconds their completely shaken up.

I am a lash tech and I bought this paint shaker for my glue and I works great! I love it, I don’t have to be holding it and can work on other things.
