This is a good option as compared to the regular detergent bars as they are very harsh on the skin.Very effective in washing clothes, however, the smell isn’t very nice.It is exactly like the old school “naulakha” or “desi sabun” that was used in almost every Indian middle class household during the 90s.Having said that, it serves the purpose of cleaning clothes very well and is probably devoid of any harsh and/or harmful synthetic derivatives which are usually present in detergents.

My dad used to get soap bars from his workplace(SAIL) for washing greasy work outfits. We used to call them soda soaps because they would consist of mainly washing soda and pretty much nothing else. These handmade soaps reminds me of them. The feel of the soap, cleanliness and base fragrance is very similar, except for the added nirol fragrance and these are not harsh for hands.They came pretty well packed, I wish there wasn't plastic packaging but I understand it is to prevent moisture loss. Once the soap is opened it will feel light, not 120gms wt.but it is clearly mentioned that it will lose weight.About cleaning, I am very happy. My reason for buying them is for undergarments and socks. The commercial ones loaded with fragrance and what not, makes undergarments and socks stiff after regular usage. Moreover, I was having trouble with skin irritation/itching.Perfect switch for me. I didn't take picture of before-after washing😅, but I am very much happy with the results. It appropriately lathers, cleans, doesn't melt away and isn't harsh at all.Wish the plastic wrap is of the biodegradable kind and there could be another fragrance than this one. For me the price is justified, I will buy again for sure.Update: 03/08/2021I am a repeated buyer of this product, don't think will replace it anytime soon. Buying larger packs is cost effective so win win. And i am very glad that this time there was wax paper wrap instead of plastic😌.

Fantastic product. Just enough lather for thorough cleaning. Easy to wash off, and soft on the skin. Makes me think why the world ever switched to those caustic and harsh detergents in the first place. May be just due to marketing. This is expensive, but worth every rupee you spend.

We have started using this Wellspring Detergent Bar 2 flavour (Lime grass, Lavender) but it is one of the worst product according to me, as I am writing this review after almost 45 days of usage. It breaks in to pieces, no smell, no Detergent effect, only positivity is it hasn't made any harm to the skin. Not a WORTHY PRODUCT TO BUY UNLESS YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT THE VALUE SPENT.

This is same as the old age detergent soaps. Light brown in colour. Smell is very basic no perfume added. Safe on hands. Using to wash baby clothes and innerwears. It's been good and safe till now.

Very nice

I liked this product. Cleans entire laundry even the dirtiest one. I use it in washing machine. It is very smooth and brittle so I cut a pieces of it and put it in the machine. Works well. Only problem is rainy season might leave bit unpleasant odour in clothes.

I bought these lavender soap bars to make homemade laundry soap. The smell is good if you like lavender. The bars are a little on the small side & higher priced than other bars but overall smell much better & I prefer to go the organic route!
