PARKER Sonnet Rollerball Pen, Black Lacquer with Gold Trim, Fine Point Black Ink

A nice, well-writing and handling Parker Sonnet rollerball. Great blue color, too. Shipping originated from GB, so my only observations are that it was difficult to track once it arrived in the U.S., and who would handle the final delivery, as all I saw was "coming soon." It did show up in my mailbox today by the USPS with no issues.

Beautiful solid elegant. It is a tool of elegance and intrinsic value. There is no reason to own a pen over 10 $ in value. This brings its own enjoyment of its beauty.

Gift was well received. An excellent starter pen for a young professional or recent grad.

The pen itself is very nice, a little overpriced, in my opinion but good quality. The problem lies with the refill. It is blotchy really not nice to write with, which is surprising coming form Parker. While I really liked the pen itself because of the refill I returned it. Unfortunately refills are mostly proprietary and not easy to find good substitutions. At least or me, it was not worth all the work. Parker should know how to produce excellent rollerball refills. Unfortunately that is not the case. I even ordered brand new refills and those were exactly the same. So I am sorry to say, this was not the pen I wanted to keep even if I love Parker in general.

This pen exceeds my expectations. Not only is it solid, well-crafted, and balanced, but it's great looking. I hand-write a great deal of my notes to files and memos to staff, as well my personal correspondence and this pen makes it easy - no fatigue. The ink from the Parker refills is immediate to the paper and flows as evenly as any pen I have ever owned. I do suggest, however, that if you like a medium point, stick to the "fine" version of the refills. The "medium" is overly bold for what I would consider a medium point cartridge. Excellent pen!

Beautiful design to look at and hold. Writing with it is a pleasure. Weather a personal note or creating a literary work of art, the experience of using this pen is a satisfaction in and of itself.

My father owned this pen back in the 80s and he lost it. It is so great to be able to find the exact same pen many years later. It looks the same and feels the same. Thanks Parker for making such beautiful pen!

Ich habe den Roller zuerst in Edelstahl/Gold gekauft. Er hat ein ordentliches Gewicht und liegt gut in meiner recht großen Hand. Er macht optisch was her, und es macht mir Freude, damit zu schreiben. Ich habe F und M Minen ausprobiert. Zum Schreiben ist für mich F eher geeignet, für Unterschriften besser M. Da ich nicht immer wechseln wollte, habe ich dann ein günstiges Angebot benutzt und mir noch den aus Sterling Silber bestellt. Der ist qualitativ noch mal ein einer anderen Liga; sehr edel und sicher nicht für immer und überall. Mit den Minen von Parker habe ich keine Probleme. Fazit: beide Roller sind nicht gerade günstig aber wer Wert auf ein stilvolles Schreibgerät für den täglichen Gebrauch legt, dem sollte die Edelstahlversion das auch Wert sein. Die Silberversion ist dann schon eher etwas für Liebhaber oder besondere Gelegenheiten. Meine Empfehlung: Da Silber empfindlicher als Stahl ist, habe mich mir noch ein hochwertiges Leder Etui dazu gekauft. Das sollte dann auch noch drin sein. +++ WICHTIGER HINWEIS ZUR AUSFÜHRUNG IN SILBER +++ Auf der dem Clip abgewandten Seite der Kappe gibt es eine Stelle, die ich zunächst für eine kleine Beschädigung gehalten habe. Erst unter einer einer starken Vergrößerung zeigte sich, dass es sich dabei um eine PUNZIERUNG (925) handelt! Also ... alles gut und kein Grund für eine Retoure!
