Q: how many of each size are there?

I think there were 12 of the large circles, 2 of the large rectangular pieces and all the rest were the tiny dots - not useful for me at all!

Q: Do these stay on the furniture? Is the adhesive strong?

Yes these will adhere very well...however if the furniture is to be moved back and forth and it is an uneven floor surface they may not stay on as long as you would like them to. Stationary furniture--PERFECT. Wood floors with bevels or Ceramic Tile with grout lines--NOT SO PERFECT.

Q: The smallest dot pieces , will they fit for using on dining chairs ? Thanks

The larger round dots are about the right size for dining room chairs. The smaller dots are maybe 3/16" in diameter, too small for chairs, but I use them on lamps, ceramic pieces and so on to protect my tabletops

Q: Could these be cut to fit?

Yes, I needs 1 x 1 inch squares for certain chair legs .. Cut just fine
