very fast
With the High Sierra Nvidia driver I unchecked the box SYSTEM PREFERENCES->DISPLAY->OVERSCAN and this gave me a black border around the screen and lower resolution. Unfortunately, the check box has now disappeared and I cannot go back to 3840x2160. I have searched on the web for ways of resetting the Nvidia parameters in NVRAM without success. Powering on with Command+Option+P+R held down does not help. Any ideas?Since then I have tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it without success.I have also tried sudo nvram -c which fixed my mouse problem but not the display.Reverting to the basic Nvidia driver supplied by Apple gives me 3840x2160 at 30Hz on my 4K monitor butfails on XPLANE.I really think Nvidia should fix the driver.I am unable to determine where the overscan flag is stored, so any help would be welcome.CORRECTION.I have recently discovered that the problem is not the card but the screen so apologies for having falsely accused the card

Easy to install.
I have just received delivery and quickly installed new Titan X card. Before I had Quadro 4000 and used NVIDIA WebDriver 378.10.10.10.30.106. on Mac OS 10.13.4 High Sierra, 2009 Mac Pro 12x 3.06GHz. Installation took about 5 minutes. Computer booted with Apple boot screen.I performed only quick test Cinebench 11.5. Here it was slower than old ATI HD5870 in my second machine, but in real use in Cinema 4D editor refreshes much quicker. I can recommend this card.

after a quick driver update on Windows 8 Bootcamp it works like a charm
Although I was unable to get this working on macOS (10.13.4) with full driver supper due to nvidia web driver issues (kernel panic/reboot loop) I foresaw this as a likely outcome. Having said that, after a quick driver update on Windows 8 Bootcamp it works like a charm. I am extremely happy with it and a Mac driver update will come along eventually.

Blazing Fast!
Wasn't right card for me due to lack of Mac drivers, but blazing fast. Two thumbs up!

Not a good board unless you never want to accept any of Apple's OS updates to the current OS
Does not function with Mac OS 10.11.6 15G18011 build which is the latest for El Capitan. Using a Mac Pro model 3,1 early 2008. The board needs drivers specific to builds!! Never had that experience with the K5000 but it went kapoof ... Can't boot from install thumb drives the generic driver won't work with it. Although it boots 10.11.6 build 15G18011 the display is extremely flaky and the driver incompatible with the desktop display software ... oh and the NVidia drivers listed in the instruction sheet aren't generic enough to work in between builds ... misleading instructions ... be very careful what you buy.

Great Graphics Card
functions as advertised. Best card you can get that does not require an auxiliary power supply. Follow instructions and install the Nvidia drivers ahead of installation and backup your system image in case you need to reinstall your OS.

sad I really wanted to use it to
I bought this card which I assumed was "flashed" for cMP 5,1. It was very buggy and crashed all the time. I may not have installed and patched drivers correctly...sad I really wanted to use it to...
