Susan and Bob were great, and I liked all the Mavericks. The love between them was inspiring. Paige was sweet, smart, and loving. I was glad to learn why Evan chose Paige’s sister over her initially. The sister was a sociopath and not likeable. Evan was smart and kind. The psychology part of the story was interesting. This is an excellent read.

Paige and Evan were friends before her sister Whitney caught his eye. They're now on the way to divorce. Paige will do what she's always done, support and help. Angsty and heartfelt. Twists and challenges tip toe to the union of best friends, great book

I've read a couple other 'Maverick' stories and found that they all have a 'slow to build' factor, for me anyway. The two main characters, Paige and Evan, have baggage galore between them. Friends forever and Paige has evidently loved Evan all that time, but, wound up taking a back seat to her conniving sister, Whitney. Evan and Whitney marry, not a good move on his part, and Paige stayed in the background but always there to support Evan when he needed it. That's all I will say on that because anything else will spoil it for a new reader. It's a little intense most of the time as there's a lot of psychological explanations here and there, but the love that slowly comes to the forefront is worth reading. There are sexual situations that don't leave anything to the imagination but not so bad as to spoil the story, not really. They are easily skimmed over without losing the story if you need to. I only have one thing that I wish had been expounded on. The scene in the lawyer's office, the confrontation between Whitney and Evan and their lawyers. I really wanted to see Whitney 'skewered' a lot more! If ever there was a scene that could be revenge worthy, that was it! LOL. But, this story was good, family/families, loyalty, forgiveness, healing and love prevailing for all the right reasons. It's a standalone with references to others to come, and a HEA that makes it very recommendable.

It is evident that Evan married the wrong sister nine yrs ago, Whitney is a manipulative lair & its time for a change. Now he is in the middle of a divorce & is finding that he only has eyes for Paige, the one person he can never have. Paige happens to be his ex-wife Whitney's sister & she has been in love with Evan for almost ten yrs. This story was such a great read & i fell in love with Evan all over again(he's been my favorite all along) He has baggage that he doesn't want to burden others with, but Paige isn't letting him off the hook that easily. She was there for him no matter what has happened & she just might be exactly the person he needs when someone from his past reappears, His life may truly never be the same again. You get to see the usual cast of characters, along with the wise matriarch of the Maverick's, Susan & Bob! Check out this amazing story today!

I love this series. Each set of characters are so likable, believable and multilayered. Who wouldn't be stunned when his supposedly loving wife admits she lied about three pregnancies and three miscarriages? Not to mention permanently fixing it so she would never have children. Whitney has been a snake throughout the series, though we've only seen touches of it here and there. Evan has every right to be devastated by his wife's duplicity. Hooray for him for kicking her to the curb. Thankfully, Paige is there to pick up the pieces. It was always so apparent that she loved him but never acted on those feelings. Now, once again, she's there to help him deal with not one but two major life crises. She is so gentle, sweet, kind and understanding. Just what Evan has always needed but never really saw her past the best friend place she had in his life.These stories are so heartwarming. The Mavericks are so sexy, yet down to earth. Their humble beginnings have shaped their lives but never stopped them from really being successful. I am looking forward to Daniel's story..

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.This is the 4th book in the Maverick series and unlike the first 3 Mavericks, Evan was not starting with a blank slate, rather, he's just gotten out of a long drawn out bad marriage. Paige is his sister in law who's long been in love with Evan.Like the previous books, the story has its funny, sweet, and sexy moments. However, for most of the book, I wanted to bash Evan's head for being bullheaded! Phoebe was doing everything she can to make him realize it isn't wrong to move on in his life with her. A lesser woman would have given up! Thank goodness he came around!To me it isn't at par with Matt's book but nonetheless a great read. Readers will love the camaraderie between the guys and their great relationships with the women they ended up with. I'm looking forward to Daniel's book. Here's hoping it's gonna be the best of the lot!

An excellent storyline that delved into domestic violence that harms so many families. As a retired police officer I have seen, and had to deal with, far too much of it in my early working life.Thank you for illustrating the lasting damage that comes from it, and the basic goodness in so many people. I have seen much of that, and loved it.

Could not wait to read evan and Paige's story.. beautiful story.. Bella Andre is truly the best. Waiting impatiently for her next book

Wow !!! Another brilliant read from two amazing authorsI was and wasn't looking forward to reading this book because I detest Whitney so much and Evan was really blind to how she was I was also interested in how they met and I can now say "What a "*****" sorry.Paige I loved from the other Maverick story's and how she and Evan were friends is amazing, I loved how they got together and Paige didn't give up on him when so many would of.Evan I don't know if I love him as much as the other but he is growing on me maybe when I reread this again I'll find something that would connect me to him, it was good to hear of more family coming into the Maverick Group it's getting bigger every time I also can't wait to read Daniel's story and I hope Lyssa will get her book too🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

'Irresistible in Love' by Bella Andre and Jennifer Skully is a great addition to their Maverick Billionaires Series. Though it can be read as a stand alone, I would highly recommend the entire series. I pre-buy all of Bella's books and once again was delighted with this book.This book is about second chances... in love and in family. 'Irresistible in love' is definitely more intense than the other books in this series, my heart was racing when the unexpected happened. I couldn't wait to read more. Definitely a must read.

The story is really engaging. The characters are all so closely related and described with so much passion and love. The same reflects in the book
