This product is what the title says, a tribute to Katsuhiro Otomo. It shows really cool renditions from great international artists of Otomo’s masterpieces and also includes excerpts of how Otomo inspired their work and style. Highly recommend!

Interesting book
I'm a fan of all things akira and Otomo. I liked most of the art work. Some very good and well known manga artists featured. Worth the price if you are a fan of the classic manga and anime.

The best
First of all, big shout out to Kodansha who treated me like the best when I signalised I got damaged book from Amazon order (I got it way after return deadline and Amazon Consumer Service suggested to contact with Kodansa directly). I got new book in a week and could appreciate the effort put to this beautiful book, really happy I own a great book with so much Akira fan arts by the best artists and damaged book is in Free Library of Comic Books I volounteery run. Such an amazing book. Guess artist plus concept art, if you’re a huge fan don’t think twice in buying it, it’s worth it.

Quite surprised
It is a big, heavy book. I was delightedly surprised to find that Mr. Otomo is heralded by distinguished creators around the world who stated that Mr. Otomo had an impact on them and took the time to contribute an illustration which is on the right side of the book.
