Perform as well as OEM brake pads
Was using OEM Advics for the last few brake jobs. Problem with Advics, they don't come with any hardware, so you have to clean existing hardware very well. Tedious work. Advics worked fine though. So, researched " best rated aftermarket brake pads, and Bosch Quietcast cast in the top 10 " I purchased them, installed them, broke them in as you should any brake pad. They perform just as well as Advics, no squeaking, low brake dust, no intense grabbing- very smooth. Been installed for a few thousand miles already. Time will tell if they last as long as the Advics ( OEM). But, even if they last a few thousand miles less, they are less expensive and come with the hardware, and perform as well as OEM Advics.

For the DIY....
Used this for a Lexus ES 300.- TOOLS NEEDED, (including that to remove rotor):- 21mm socket for lug nuts.- 14mm socket for caliper to bracket bolts.- 17mm socket for caliper bracket to knuckle bolts.- Breaker bar for easier removal of bolts.- Torque wrench for precise bolt replacement.- Large mouth pliers or caliper pressing tool, to squeeze the piston.- To remove a sticking rotor: Sledge Hammer, which many videos say to use. Alternatively, an M8x1.25 bolt to screw into the OEM rotor, which has those 2 bolt holes. I had trouble with the hammer and was tempted to stand and swing my body weight into it. Probably best that I didn't. Using the bolt was much easier.- Get familiar with the replacement steps. The YouTube video I followed is titled How to Replace Front Brakes 1997-2001 Lexus ES300, by TRQ.TIPS:1. When using the breaker to remove the bolts, be sure to rehearse the removal direction, which is counter clockwise. Since the bolts are behind the face, I mistakenly turned the bar the wrong way. Good thing I didn't go to far. Whew!2. When squeezing the caliper piston prior to placing it on the rotor... If your brake fluid reservoir is almost full, remove some fluid. Else, it will over flow and drip over when you squeeze piston. Brake fluid is caustic.

Pad is well built
Pad is good quality but the hardware that comes with it does not fit very well. It fits but a bit too tight, reducing one star for that. Overall, it's a pretty good product.

Top Quality Auto Parts
The local auto parts shops used to be somewhat reasonable. Now it pays to shop online, yet it still pays to shop around. Even the internet stores have gone up in price, and so Amazon is the best place to buy auto parts when you can find a reasonable seller. These Bosch disc brake kits are perfect for a headache free replacement with OEM equivalent products that last the extra mile. Would definitely recommend based upon affordability, quality, and trustworthiness of the seller.
