I admit it; I was skeptical. I've tried a number of sun shades over the years, of various styles and price points. They were all either too large, too small, wouldn't stay unfolded, wouldn't stay folded (or were impossible to re-fold once they were deployed), or took up the entire back seat when they weren't in use. No such problems with this one. If you can open an umbrella, you can deploy this sun screen. It was advertised as fitting my car, and it fits it like it was standard equipment. The top edge is clearly labeled, and extends above the windshield only just enough to be held in place by the visors without bowing or rumpling the sunscreen or leaving the visor hanging down to hit my head on when entering the car. It completely covers the entire area of the windshield, and I am convinced that the car was noticeably cooler than it would have been with my previous item. It collapses quickly, smoothly, and efficiently and takes up no more storage space than a folding mini-umbrella. If they made a similar product that could be easily used in the back window, I would buy it without hesitation.

I used this car sunshade less than 10 times and it’s already broken. I only used it for occasional outdoor parking, but the build quality is very poor. It is not durable at all.

No, it does not fit.The 2002 F-350 needs 10 more inches to cover the windshield. AND- "Just slip the shade under the rear view mirror". Not even Houdini was that good. Pros: With a 10" reflectics panel, It keeps my truck cooler than a well fitting Reflectics fold up shade. It is easier to install than a fold-up. It takes little space when stored where as the fold-ups are always there in the way or under the groceries hiding. Concerns: This a delicate fabrication as are all umbrellas of the tri-fold style. Slamming it open or cramming it closed makes for it's quick demise. 3 ways to get destroy this shade: 1.Let the kids play with it 2. Loan it to your neighbor for his Las Vegas trip 3. Use it out side the vehicle in breezy conditions.

I felt like this sunshade has great potential for a car that it will actually fit the windshield in. I purchased this on prime day because Amazon confirmed that it would fit my 2021 F150, but unfortunately I don't feel that it does. If you look at my attached photo, you can see the large gaps on the sides. The reason for my 3 star rating is because the "extra fabric" to extend the screen to ensure a total coverage is only on half of the shade, which still leaves portions of your car exterior exposed to UV. Other than the shade not fitting my windshield completely, and only half of the sides having the extra fabric, I felt that this product was extremely easy to use and convenient--all you do is fold it like an umbrella and you are setup in literal seconds. It doesn't take up a lot of space at all and you don't have to continuously fumble with it to store or put up. If they made a size that actually fit my F150 or extended the extra fabric all the way down each side, I would definitely order it. Maybe other people will have better luck in their vehicles.

I took my photo crooked but it’s perfect! I love how it’s umbrellas styled so I can retract it easily. I don’t even need my sun visors to hold it up tbh. The little Velcro strap across the mirror is perfect, it slides right into the corners of the windshield, and creates and nice darkness. It has a sleeve to store similar to an umbrella too. It took me about 5 minutes to figure out smoothly but it’s easy peasy to use! My car cooled off in literally like two minutes versus the usual like 9-12. I park directly in the sun sadly and this was just a random idea for me but such a good one! Highly recommend! I plan on decorating the visible side so it’s not just boring black.

Okay! That didn't last, at all. Only a few days of trying to use this and I already gave up on it. After use number two, or three, I noticed one of the metal arms pierce straight through the fabric. The manufacturer did not even bother to round out the edges of the metal supporting rods, not even a rubber softened tip! Just roughly cut and easily cuts through fabrics. My car was said to fit this, and I tried both options. It simply isn't worth it. Starting off, I like the design so far. Assuming you wrap it well enough, this is a perfect little device to use in the summer, but pack in your side-door storage. Of course, assuming it is big enough. Do double check your windshield size though, I made the mistake of allowing Amazon's system to filter results without double checking, and it pointed to me to a large. This was just slightly too big to the point of being useless, so I was forced to return the large and try the medium. I own a 2013 Lexus GS350. The medium size fit is good. Not perfect so there will be some gaps, but good. My primary reason to use this is not just to make the interior cooler as I believe anything but the AC will just be fighting a losing battle, but actually to keep the steering wheel from becoming searing hot. My trim came with a wooden finish steering wheel, and I quite enjoy how it feels on my hands so a steering wheel cover was not an option. If you are looking for a perfect fit you might want another solution, but if not, give it a try.

WE LIVE IN AZ DESERT. IT GETS 110 ON A COOL SUMMER DAY. GO INTO STORE WHEN YOU GET TO YOUR IT IS 159 DEGREES IN THERE. WE TESTED IT JUST TO SEE. OTHER WINDSHILD GUARDS ARE BULKY HARD TO SET UP AND HARD TO TAKE DOWN. WE HAVE A F-150 SO I GOT THE BIGGEST ONE. IT FITS PERFECT. JUST SECONDS TO SET UP AND FEWER SECONDS TO TAKE DOWN. FOLDS UP VERY EASY AND COMPACT. KINDA LIKE THOSE SMALL UMBRELLAS. IT CAN ALL BE DONE INSIDE THE VEHICLE WITHOUT 1 PROBLEM. SET IT ON THE HUMP IN CENTER OF FLOOR BOARD AND IT IS OUT OF THE WAY AND FORGOTTEN TIL YOU NEED IT AGAIN. AND YES, WE DID TEST TEMP INSIDE TRUCK. WHEN WE CAME OUT AFTER 1 1/2 HOURS IN STORE THE TEMP WAS LOWER THAN THE OUTSIDE BY 4 DEGREES. I COULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT IT NOW.
