so happy i ordered this before my c section, as a plus size person i was nervous anout the hospital having a binder my size, this is an absolutely amazing abdominal binder that fit me perfectly and was easy to use. super helpfil for the pain after surgery. for reference I am about a size 3x normally and fit was perfect

This thing was hugely helpful when I had abdominal surgery last year. Based on Dr. Google's advice from various sources it seemed like a good idea, and I was so glad I had it to wear during my hall walks in the day after the surgery and especially during the ride home and when walking around the house over the next few days.Easy to use and didn't stretch out noticeably during my limited use of it. Definitely worth it!

The width is a smidge wide. But other than that I like it. I wear it when my sciatic flares up.

Easy to use and works as expected after surgery.Wider is better than the thin ones after a hysterectomy.

It is a really big velcroed ace bandage essentially.It doesn't give actual support like a brace if that's what you want don't buy it.What it does is hold onto your waist and belly so it doesn't jostle around so much when you get up or down or walk. But it does NOT support you.I have nothing bad to say the Velcro is super strong, the band is nice and wide, stitching is great quality.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I purchased this as a post operative abdominal band. I have a surgical incision that is approximately 12" long that starts 3 inches above my naval and runs down just above my pubic region. I have had 3 surgeries in the last 3 years. First was a colon resection and then a hernia repair and small bowel resection. I am no stranger to abdominal bands. I also **do not** wear this band over the top of clothes as pictured. I guess some might wear it as pictured around the house. A stroll in public wearing it as pictured would just be silly.In my honest opinion no one is making a 5 star abdominal band at this time. This band is as close as I have come to finding the perfect post surgical abdominal band.Let me start with the pros:- The fabric on this band does breathe. I have not gotten sweaty wearing this band even in high humidity and hot summer temps. I am not sure how wearing as pictured over the top of clothes would impact how the band would breathe or if you would get sweaty.- The material, sewing, and velcro on the band are of high quality and it appears to be made to last.- The band is fully adjustable to fit a maximum hip/waist measurement of 62" down to as small as you need it to be thanks to the way the velcro anchors to the band. This is not true with all velcro closure abdominal bands.- The band is machine washable and cleans up nice.Here on the slight cons with this abdominal band:- The backing of the band that would come in contact with your skin is *not* soft. If you are using this as a post surgical abdominal band *and* are not wearing clothing between you and the band, you will want to hold off using this band until all sutures and staples have been removed and all incisions are healed up.- I have tried a number of abdominal bands from different manufactures and different widths (both 9" and 12"). They **ALL** curl up and/or roll down defeating the purpose of wearing the band and making it very uncomfortable. Oddly enough, the 9" abdominal bands are more prone to curling up or rolling down. The BraceAbility band does it less that the others I have worn but it still happens.In summary, I give this abdominal band 4 stars. Quality material, strong velcro, and excellent stitching makes for a good abdominal band out of the package. There are 2 improvements that BraceAbility could make that would take this from a 4 star abdominal band to a 5 star abdominal band:1 - Add a soft/plush panel of material on the back side of the band facing the skin to increase comfort.2 - Sew in pockets and add *removable* plastic staves on the sides and back of the band to prevent curling and roll up.

Bigger than I thought, had to cut 1/3 off. Continues to buckle or worse, crawls/folds in half while wearing!! Gets caught on the other end of the velcro = annoying. Very little support. Hard to put on, can never get it just right. Not sure why I got this. For now, am using it OVER another binder for much-needed back support....at least it works that way, holding the other binder that actually works, in place. That's all I can use it for, really.

Bought this for my mom and she loves it. Very durable and stays put. Recommended

I weight 250 lbs and ordered the 2X size as I needed to have it big enough to go around my body. Things I have tried in the past never seem to fit around right. This one was way too big for my liking as it wrapped around nearly twice. I may order a smaller one at some point. This is why I rated it number four. In all honesty, I probably should have rated it number 5 because I think if it was the right size for me, it would have served my purpose. I returned it. The delivery came before the expected time and the return was processed very quickly. I really am happy with the service I get from Amazon.

I didn’t keep this particular one. Would recommend putting it together and leaving it together. Slip on from feet up otherwise you will just tear the fabric over time. It can be cut to size as well as fraying is not an issue with this fabric. Great for hernias, incisional support.
