Powerplus Active Tablets, Citrus Fresh, Pack 4 x 8 Tablets, Deep Clean Without Scrubbing, Removes 100% Limescale, Toilet Cleaner

I have recently switched from astonish tablets for cleaning my toilet bowls and found that these tablets dissolve faster and seem to have a more concentrated effect than my old product. I put the tablet in and leave overnight if I can or at least 3/4 hours then give the bowl especially around the waterline a good scrub with the toilet brush before flushing. This product has a similar potency to the Harpic line scale removing liquid but unfortunately dies not clean under the rim like the liquid but is really good at dealing with limes ale under and on the waterline. Please remember to never use any other products in the toilet bowl or cistern until you have performed 2 complete flushes after using these tablets. Chlorine based cleaners like bleach can release toxic, flammable gasses when combined. Also with these blocks use in the cistern should be avoided as the liquid is quite caustic and will eat away at unglazed cistern tanks and potentially the flushing mechanism / ballcock as well.

I had tried to get rid of deposits in the toilet bowl by scrubbing with pumice, bleach and various other branded products, even removing all the water from the toilet bowl before I cleaned. Nothing would shift some stubborn stains. I looked at various tablets, but many had poor reviews. As soon as I used this one overnight, it made a big difference, and I just had to scrub off the last tiny remaining stains. In fact I put another tablet in after a week or so and it totally cleaned the bowl. Very happy with this product.

Really good product. Easy to use and my toilet bowl finally looks much cleaner. Not perfect but much better than it was. Hopefully with continuous use, it will make it look even better. Recommended.

My toilets are sparkling. Have revived loos which have never been descaled/ cleaned properly for years, by using a couple of tablets over night. One tablet per week maintains a sparkling toilet bowl- I live in a high limescale areaHighly recommended

Perfect for me to use

Left to sit for a few hours these tabs make light work of toilet cleaning when contending with very hard water. Also have a very pleasant citrus fragrance. As they are so effective I generally only need to use one every 1-2 weeks so this good value pack will probably last the year out.

Don't know why but seems to work better some of the time. Not sure why

I don’t use anything other than these toilet tablets. I always leave them over night for the best results
