Fantastic funnel..
This is very well made. The strainer is removable. I like the handle on the side for repackaging shortening to Mason Jars. It is a little bit on the warm side so the handle helps you from getting burned when removing it. This is wider than the one I used to use so it stays balanced on the top of the jar. I use a glove with the handle when it gets close to the top. I haven't had an occasion to use the strainer part yet but I'm sure it will come in handy at some point. I'm going to make extracts and those were what I was thinking of when I purchased this. This is a nice quality strainer. Getting it on a lightening deal was a nice bonus and how I found it.

A very nice addition to your kitchen
This is a very nicely designed funnel. The built-in, removable filter, is perfect for draining oil from a pan and catching the solids. We fry plantains regularly and then reuse the oil. This funnel will catch the solids and then allow them to be discarded. It is dishwasher-safe so it's easy to clean. I especially like the fact that the filter piece can be easily removed when you only want it to act like a funnel. The only superfluous thing about this item is the loop on the outside, which is unnecessary. This is a very good purchase and an item that will stay in your kitchen for years to come!

Seems well made
I have not used this item yet, but it seems perfect for transferring (cooking) oils and has a removable drain in it. the opening is a bit larger than I expected, so I won't be able to use in on smaller bottles (such as essential oils). I might also be able to use it to strain gravy since it has the removable piece.

Very, very nice - love the removable strainer
Sometimes that flexible silicon funnel just doesn't do the trick. This stainless funnel is fabulous for both liquid transfer and getting bits of infused herbs, stray goat hair (yes, fresh goat milk sometimes gets a hair), and small seeds out of liquids without having to wrangle a funnel, a strainer, a bottle or two and still wind up with a mess on the kitchen counter and floor. Get one, already!

Good quality and easy to clean
I would not have expected to be thrilled with a funnel, but here I am. The perforated-plate filter works great and is easy to remove and clean. The ridge in the stem does make it a little harder to clean, but guarantees that air can escape from the container while you pour. The metal is a good weight--not flimsy.

Glad I got this Stainless Steel funnel...
It's really well made, has a nifty strainer insert, a big finger loop, shiny and pretty, plus a air space going down the tube to help it flow without backing up. It will last and hold up a long time (longer than I'll be on the planet, anyway). I'm throwing out the old plastic ones!

Short Full Review
If you read or find this review HELPFUL, Hit that HELPFUL buttonWhen you came across with your cooking oil and you know you can still use it but there are some few debris in it and wanting to transfer it to a container, you may want to try this item1.FilterIf you are the kind that wants no debris left in your oil then might want to consider putting filter paper because the hole for this one is only great enough for a quite bigger sizes and not for fine ones.2.SturdyWe use it when we have oil that we can still use, since it is stainless steel it will last as long you can clean it properly. Just be careful with the filter because it might bend when you bend it far than it should be.3.SizeYou need to pour slowly, so the oil could flow out smoothly and not overflow soecially if we are dealing with large quantity of fluid.Overall, useful if you want to reuse your oil, expect that fine debris be present if you use this only with no filter paper.
