Worked great for rust stain!!
Was able to get a stubborn rust stain out of my new apartment tub! Didnโt take long and it came right off. I am so happy I found this.

I think I have finally found the perfect hard water tool
I bought another scrubbing pad [Shaws] from Amazon before trying the Earthstone, to remove the remains of a gray pumice stone around the rim of a toilet. That pad fell apart when I used it. The Earthstone is a different story. It worked on the old stains without my having to spend a long time scrubbing. It did wear down fairly fast, but it was very effective on hard water and old pumice stains. It didn't seem to scratch the toilet bowl, either. I will be buying another one of these when this one wears out. I think I have finally found the perfect hard water tool. I would suggest one improvement, though, which is to sell an Earthstone with a sharpened point to allow getting up into the small crevices on the rims of some toilet bowls. One thing to watch out for with the Earthstone is the amount of residue it sheds when used. Be sure to have a paper towel or a bucket or something to put it down on, or your bathroom floor will have a lot of residue from the Earthstone. I also used heavy gloves when using it for the same reason.

Scared to scratch the surfaces
I saw this product on an Instagram video as an effective way to clean the bathroom, especially for removing soap scum. It feels much more coarse than I was expecting and I was nervous to try it on my smooth tubs. I do have one shower that has more of a textured floor and I did use it on there, and it seemed to remove the discoloration. It felt slightly gritty after I did it, so it confirmed my suspicion to not use it on large bathtub areas. I'm sure I can find other uses for this; just not my sinks and tubs.

Great for Removing Soap Scum from Tile
These a great for removing soap scum from tile. No fumes, but you might want to wear a mask so you don't breath in stone dust.

This item is amazing! we live in a 100 year old house that has had very few updates over the years. Our bathtub/shower gets cleaned every week but regardless of chemical or scrub brush, I could NOT for the life of me get the hard water stains off the ceramic tub. I bought one of these at Fred Meyer and it worked wonders, better than the Mr Clean Magic Erasers as it actually has a true scrubbing nature to it rather than the rubbing nature of a magic eraser. Our tub was bad, so I was in need of a second BathStone and ordered on Amazon for convenience. Note: this is for a ceramic tub, not sure if the product would be right for an enamel or other material tub. Do your research before you start scrubbing! Wear gloves when you use this! I made the mistake of wearing without - it feels like a pumice stone so it can be a little rough on your hands and dried mine out a bit. I wish I had taken before

Got this cause some other guy recommended it, I don't want to say I'm lazy(I am) or that I care(I don't), but this thing is good for a lot of stuff except try to get into spaces that a pumince bar would fit. It does a real good job on almost everything, kind of a lot of grit but doesn't hurt the surface if you don't rub it in, but for toilets (which is what I bought it for), get the elbow grease ready and find something else for the nook and crannies. Sorry, I'm just a slob now a days.

Only way to get water lines, etc, out of toilets!
This is our second purchase of this. We bought it first at a big box store. I specifically looked for this one and bought it because it worked so well, was durable, didn't scratch the surfaces, and didn't hold odor. My husband took our original partly used one to my son's college apartment where he had a huge issue in the tub and the toilet looked like the owner hadn't cleaned it - ever! The toilet was beaming white!!! And he got 95% of a huge tub stain out (cast iron rusting through porcelain - they really should fix that!). I would put pictures but we forgot to get before pictures! It's fast, efficient and no chemicals. A win all around!
