I have had this book for years. I lent it out to someone and never received it back, so I repurchased. Great information. I use this for research to take herbs instead of prescribed medications.

This is my new favorite go to book for learning about herbs. The way it is organized is easy and everything is easy to understand. It's a great resource. The book is split between individual herbs and by disorders or formulas.

So far this is a great book. It has a wealth of information. It doesn't just give you herbs to use, but tells you how to use them, pros/cons of each and also provides formularies.

I saw this at a Good Earth store marked "Store Copy" and flipped through the table of contents. It's organized by diagnosis, not herb and I totally geeked out on it. It's exactly what you want if all you've got is a diagnosis and want to know what to do. I brought it home to my wife and in about 30 minutes it was filled with the little blue stickies she uses as bookmarks. The book is totally usable. Highly recommended, along with the online vids from HomeGrownHerbalist.

some of this stuff might just work. I hate taking the chemistry class stuff that the doc's are paid to give us , and then tell us how wonderful this stuff is. Then you get to read the grocery list of side affects it can give you when to pick your script up. Good luck folks, and stay away from the hospltals. People die for no reason in there. yes there is a reason, and it's called incompatence.

It breaks down everything! Very detailed. An a easy read. Definitely should be in every home !

Had the third addition of this book and decided that I should get the latest update. Glad I did very good book used it for many years. It is got lots of new information for herbal and vitamin used for conditions such as ADD, ADHD, different kinds of cancer and many more. It is a big book! It is well indexed.

Ich kann dieses Nachschlagewerk jedem empfehlen, der wirklich mal sich einen Überblick machen möchte, leider sind nicht alle Krankheiten abgedeckt, es gibt einfach viel zu viele Lücken um zu behaupten es wäre vollständig, und man merkt eindeutig den amerikanischen Einfluss auf das - sehr gute - aber deutlich produktplatzierte und unterschwellige Werbematerialien-tragende Buch.
