In some degree, it fits for jump and pole vault. There is another professional spikes shoes in pyramid not only in front but also in back.

Q: Would these also be good for cross county running or are these singularly for sprinting and field events?

Would rather use it for sprint and field. It was not comfortable for me for cross country as it was little rigid. I would rather have something more comfortable
