I used to use Colgate Total floss which appears to be discontinued. This is even better! It has a consistent width and does not break off in my tightly spaced teeth. I can't use oral b glide or any of the other floss that is supposed to work for tight teeth. This stuff is amazing! Hope this helps anyone who also has these issues..

Since Walgreens Hi-Tech Dental Floss has been discontinued and my back-up supply is dwindling, I decided to give Pro-Sys a try.The floss, in itself, is a 5 star. But, I needed a pliers to pull the floss from the container, and it's too slippery. I never had these problems with other dental flosses, and this is why I rated it a 3 star.So I improvised. I took the floss out of it's container and put it in a Walgreens Hi-Tech Dental Floss container. Minimum effort, and now the floss can be easily removed from the container.Secondly, and even though its a nuisance, I put a "Swingline Rubber Finger Tip" on each forefinger. I wrapped the floss around the tips two times, the floss is secure and doesn't slip, and now I can floss my teeth.

Slippery stuff! Works well and seems resistant to shredding. The dispenser isn’t so great. The floss tends to slide through a space on the side and doesn’t dispense well from there. Takes a minute or so to fix when it happens. My first dispenser wasn’t working at all. Floss was tangled inside. I pried it open and fixed it. But the fact that it’s not all sealed and can be opened is why there’s that space for the floss to get displaced. Overall I like it for shred resistance. I had another brand shred between my teeth and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. So I’ll just deal with the not so great dispenser.

I have a very crowded mouth of teeth. The main reason is I am over 60 and still have all of my widsom teeth. I've tried all the other floss in stores; and they break very easily and get stuck between my teeth. I haven't had a problem with the Pro-Sys floss.

A sample was left in my goodie bag and I loved it! I have some tight spaces in the back along with some crowns. Conventional floss would either be too big or would fray when flossing those areas. This is the only floss that did not! Now I do use the Tom's of Maine as that is the best for plaque removal for the other areas of my teeth. Highly recommend and the price point cannot be beat.
