i use this on a selfie-type stick for my streaming setup w a light connected to it to use my phone as a webcam docked at my desktop on a mini tripod; it holds well, but doesn't screw /all/ the way and the light (which weighs v little) sags because of this tightening issue.i think i'm doing something wrong that i'll figure out, so im likely going to come back and give it one more star (to 5) once i figure it out; likely will take pliers to the screw and it'll tighten appropriately.actually i'll give it five stars, just know it was initially at 4, which should speak for itself.

It's a well built small shoe mount that is allowing me to attach a light to my teleprompter. The packaging was enough to house a small metal adapter and there were no instructions, but none are needed. It took me 30 seconds to set it up and it's working great.

I purchased this so that I could mount my Smartphone on my camera as a monitor. great quality, very sturdy, and holds the phone perfectly on my camera, the complete smallrig setup now

It works. Helped me to attach a microphone for a camera to a rig for holding an iPhone.

this thing is well made and does the job well. BUT IT IS TINY. I mean this thing is itsy-bitsy. Like you'll lose this in your camera bag. if you have a heavy duty piece of equipment just buy the bigger one from smallrig.

I looks nice and is really light but is flimsy and will not tighten enough to hold anything securely.

Recent changes in the ability of ZCAM video cameras to record in the BRAW (BlackMagicDesign) codec have enhanced the ZCAM's capabilities and usability. However, to use the BRAW codec with the ZCam, one needs to use the BMD 12G Video Assist monitor's HDMI signal recording capabilities. To use a SSD with the 12G monitor, one needs to connect a USB-C 3.1 cable between the 12G monitor and the SSD. However, accessing the USB-C socket on the 12G monitor is complicated by its positioning, close to the central mounting 1/4-20 socket of the monitor frame. Most camera cage monitor brackets cover the USB-C socket on the monitor's frame. This small (but sturdy) bracket allows a 5" 12G Video Assist monitor to be securely attached to the camera's cage. The width of the bracket is 25.8mm and allows either a straight or 90-degree USB-C 3.1 plug to be easily inserted into the monitor's USB-C socket. This setup requires an additional cold-shoe bracket to attach the monitor holder to the camera cage (not included with the monitor holder). Highly recommended !
