whats the difference between this and the complete edition?

The difference between GOTY & Complete Edition is that you're able to platinum it a second time if you're into that. There's a total of 3 plat stacks for The Witcher 3 but other than that there's no difference to the story or gameplay.

Do i need to play 1 and 2 before this game? Or is it ok to start on 3?
