OVister Set of 2 Potato Express Microwave Potato Cooker (2)

I use a microwave all the time since I am single. I have baked many potatoes in microwave ovens for years and its a tricky thing to do and have them cooked correctly. To get them to be completely cooked and not burnt in the middle is hard to do. First try in the bag and they came out nice and fully cooked and fluffy. Both potatoes which one as twice the volume as the other.For sure each microwave is going to be different. Mine is a very small 800 and relatively new. The cooking time was doubled from what they said to do. To have them come out nice and white and no burnt smell is amazing! It works way better than I had expected.Treat them with great respect like all potatoes coming out of the microwave.THEY ARE VERY HOT! They are being steamed and that steam is in the bag. 212 degree moist heat when one opens the bag. I let mine sit for a minute to cool down and it also helps to cook more. Pulled the potatoes out with my bare hands and yes I held them like a hot potato. Quickly. Immediately put a fork to mash them with skins and and boom really nice white and fluffy. Some butter and seasoning and they rocked!Enjoy!

We Purchase a set of two from this site and singles from another all made in china. The bags were not made out of the same weight of materials or even the same quality of printing. The other sites had a bag with heavier material, that appears will last longer. Also there was only one bag inside our plastic envelope that says set of two. Our I'm sure they will correct this minor mistake.These bags will hold two large potatoes. We wash the potatoes,don't poke holes in them, and leave them damp. We were planing to use four bags and two different microwaves to make several potatoes. I read were a person had the bag catch fire in the microwave.We always need at least four potatoes, hence we microwave one bag on high for four minutes, then alternate with the next bag. We repeat this process for four more minutes with each bag. The idea was at least this way the bags would have time to cool.The result is the best moist bake potato ever. Yams take half the time and come out moist, and supposedly better for us. I'm looking forward to corn.

Okay, so I already own this product which I bought from a store from the clearance section one say to try it out. The product itself works great and it really is a handy tool. So I needed to buy some extra to give to some of my relatives and ordered 3 sets of these from this seller. Right away compared to the original from the store the size was a bit smaller and the material was off, it was thinner and just felt like a more synthetic material than the original I had bought from the store. Even the checkered pattern inside the pouch was a bit different from the original. Whether this product works the same as the original, I don't know yet because I hadn't originally planned on trying it out. But as soon as I do I'll be sure to update the review. I won't be returning it because looking at the other reviews, it seems like it works fine and it's pretty good for the price.

I've been looking at these for a couple of years and finally had the chance to try them at a discount for my honest review. I don't know why I waited so long! You just wash your potato and pop it in your microwave, it came out just like a restaurant baked potato which makes me wonder if restaurants have been using these for years. No more rubbery potatoes for me. I can't believe something so simple could make this big of a difference but believe me it does. I also had heard if you put old biscuits or rolls in these they taste fresh baked do of course I tried it last night when I was getting ready to throw out 2-day old hard rolls I had made for dinner. I couldn't believe it. Yep, tasted fresh baked, wow! I can't believe how much money & time this is going to save me! These come in a pack of 2, plus they are extra large so you could easily put 2 potatoes in each bag and probably put 4 rolls or biscuits in the other one. The potatoes took about 4 1/2 minutes for 1 and the rolls took abou 20 seconds for 4. Super great product!!!!!

These are a faster way of baking a potato when your in a rush and do not want to wait 40minutes for them to bake. We normally bake bigger potatoes and those usually take about 7-8 minutes not 4minutes, not really sure what size potatoes they use that take 4 minutes must be little potatoes. Overall, 8 minutes is still better than 40in the oven when you don't have the time, they work out ok.

Doesn't really work as advertised. Prior to receiving this product, I would clean the potato and wrap it in a wet paper towel and microwave it on the "baked potato" setting on a plate. This method worked perfectly for me time after time. Even still, after seeing this product I thought it might be a good addition to my kitchen. I have a rotating tray inside my microwave. Upon first using the product I found the potato not softly cooked after the 4 minutes claimed. It says you need to stand near the microwave while cooking to possibly prevent a fire (not very reassuring). When the potato wasn't cooked after 4 minutes, it says to put it back in for one minute increments. This, I had to do twice before I got a soft (still not thoroughly cooked) potato. WAY TOO MUCH HASSLE and lack luster performance than my previous method. I wouldn't recommend this product.

When we were at my sister's house, her kids wanted baked potatoes. We did not have these, but I used one of her oven mits, and it worked fine. I saw these and they were reasonably priced, so I ordered the 2 to have on hand. They are also for sale at Bed Bath and Beyond for $9.99, and with their 20 percent coupons, it is also reasonably priced. These work OK, so I give them 4 stars.03/14/14 UPDATE: I updated the rating to 5 stars. We have been using these and they actually work quite well. They will fit 2 very large/medium potatoes. You can probably only fit 3 or 4 potatos if they are fairly small.
