Very good book. Easy to follow the story line, even if you have not read the previous books in the series.

What a welcome relief Charles Russell provides with his writing, allowing us to escape the hectic days we often experience.

I’ve read the entire series over the last couple of months. Very much enjoyed it and almost felt like part of the Skinner family. I must admit, that I cried during certain parts.It is an easy read and well worth it especially if you are into ranching and rodeo.
